Listening to some journalists on Pakistani sports channels praising Inzi for selecting Shadab, Faheem, Fakhar and claiming the committee is no way to blame for our current state.

I don't understand how a selection committee can be praised for dropping useless oldies and picking up young talent ? Isin't that what everyone in Pakistan is asking them to do ? Infact they haven't done enough of it !

We constantly see our "experiened" players fail on the bigger occasions so why should the inclusion of players like Sharjeel, Shadab, Rumaan, Abbas, etc be considered an amazing move by Inzi and co. ?

Those players have forced their way into the side through performances; mostly PSL (where everyone else can also see). In my opinion people who pick up talent without looking at stats (e.g Sahibzada Farhan picked by domestic management teams, if im not wrong) should be in these selection committees instead.

Hopefully I am making my point clear. Also incase anyone is wondering, I am not new to PP; visit my intro if interested http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/s...The-Silent-Veteran-Optimistic-XI-have-entered

This is a thread I can get behind. Inzi has selected a squad which essentially forces team Managment to play these mediocre jokers. Out of his three young picks: there is one batsman one all rounder and one bowler. Inzi's knew very well our issues with timid top order batsman yet what did he do?
He selected lardbucket Umar Akmal who did play a single innings to show he learned anything in his time away from the team while he played psl and the domestic odi tournament
He sent untested Haris sohail a replacement
He dropppe Azhar ali for windies odi's and brought him back for ct seemingly on basis of nothing
He brought back Shehzad who showed no improvement on the West Indies tour: he was bad as kamran Akmal but slower
Hafeez did absolutely nothing in psl and domestic and inzi brought him to back to bash the hopeless West Indies: and despite scoring runs it was clear how Hafeez planned to score (strike rate of 50 for the first 40 deliveries)
He ignored: sabibzada farhan, Umar Amin, Sami aslam, awais zia, khurrum manzoor, Iftikhar ahmed - all of these guys were in good form scoring runs. Not all of them have a horrible technique

You guys are quite harsh on Inzi, remember some of the squads we had after the 2015 WC.

We've come a fair way with Inzi, the ODI squads that went to the England tour was pretty good! He is selecting the best performers in the domestic competition too.

Regarding the openers, remember Azhar and Shahzad are only there because of Sharjeel and Khalid.

This very same squad would be much more competitive had the management played a decent XI.

Hafeez Fakhar Babar Haris Sarfraz Malik Imad Shadab Hasan Amir Junaid is already a much better team.

The only passengers in this squad are Hafeez, Shahzad, Wahab and to some extent Azhar.
