Why the injustice to KP and Ben Stokes being given special treatment?

Wasn't it Strauss who sent KP to the wilderness whilst seems to have some special reason to keep Stokes in the team? Or is he overcompensating for a stupid decision in the first place?

Because Pietersen betrayed his teammates, Stokes didn't.

Loyalty is above everything else.

Off the field, Stokes may have his problems. However, unlike KP he didn't make the dressing room a toxic environment with his selfish and narcissictic personality.
