^thats just the way nazir is,you can take chance with him,sometimes it works sometimes it does'nt.but you cant expect your best batsmen to be as risky as nazir
 
And still we have Malik, Inzi and Kami to come and with Yousuf at the crease....no need for panic just yet
 
hmm i think its going to be just like the champ trophy great first few games then we might get overconfident and lose our way

Pakistan is making a big mistake by sending YK at No.3 there are only 2 players in squad who can play big innings and score 100.

1. Yousuf
2. Malik

One of them has to go at No.3. And please get rid of Imran, he may score 60 in next game but game after that he will get out again.

he got out 2-3 times just in CT. he has been getting out like this quite often lately, atleast in the ODIs
 
i hope hafeez does as well as teh practice matches agian we need it
i have fiath in him

Hafeez is more of a sohail kind of player. Limited in natural talent but puts a lot of work in his batting.
 
younis and nazir were too agressive
wanted to kick of the world cup in style
well look at them now
hafeez and malik are both extremely sensible
excellent temperments both of them

You can just see that as the ball is getting old it is becoming easier to play. Pak just need to wait 15 overs and then it should be much easier to bat. Malik and Inzi should be prepared to contribute with 50s at least.

Pakistanis need to score at 4.3 runs per over for the next 32 overs with the loss of not more than 4 wickets...That would mean 69 in the last 10 overs...Can do it InshaAllah...

Actually it is malik + YK makes up the 3rd big, that is why.
 
Hafeez is not trying at all to play any ball that outside off. good strategy for the first 15 overs.
 
Pak current RR 4.27 required RR 4.94

now need 210 to win from 42.2 overs @ 5.0
but too early to worry about RR

Yes: Gayle and Collymore can be dangerous...Corry has always bowled well against Pakistan...I hope Pakistanis will able to get at least 40 off his 10 overs with not many wickets given away to him...
 
frankly i just dont ubderstand YK's poor form in the ODI game - he's an attacking batsman with a good technique, quick between the wickets - so whyt does teh execution fail?
 
Malik could hold his own in the 'big 3'...moreso than Younis, thats for sure

Actually Younis Khan has unorthodox technique, which is not the best of techniques...But InshaAllah he will come back with good scores against South Africa and Australia...
 
younis can be good dont look at his stats they dont tell you anything
he plays well at number three and has to face the new ball a lot more htan he should as he is not an opener
yeah malik and younis shouls make about one and a half
 
Mbangwa in the commentary box is someone who I would term as a "naish". Keeps saying Windies need MY out.
 
We need to increase the run rate. We are getting too defensive. 2 runs for Yousuf this is what we need.
