Here we really miss Afridi or even Razzak.

It seems the way they are playing the RR will climb to 7rpo by the time we reach 35th over. A cameo by Afridi and Razzak with a quick burst would have been perfect.

Not sure who is going to provide the burst Rana, Akmal?

this is why mohd. hafeez was so good at no.6 the other day!

pitch looks flat now......good chance for pakistan yo wrestle the initiative..
Most of the work will have to be done by these two though since we've already lost 3 wickets and have a long tail...

we need more players with beards !!!

ya! because then they can secretly play double touch shots!

Look at Rana Naveed after his beard he got 10 wickets today! ya!

Maybe that was the thought process of Rana when he was thinking of ways to improve his form!

RRR creeping up. Need a better partnership...

don't worry you're forgetting about our secret weapon! the umpires are going to tell the players at the end that Pakistan gets 50 more overs since they are tourists

nayee daadi haina.

the beard takes some time to work :)

required run rate climbing. gayle might not be easy to score of. he is a good bowler at death. wat u guys think

Mayabe Rana should come down the order before Malik for some hitting as the RR is climbing quickly.

With a small ground you can only score quickly by hitting 6s. Too small to score even 2s.

looking easy batting now ...pakistan just keep your heads for 10 more overs... 40 plus runs...then it's set up for a good chase !

only thing that worries me is the long tail...these two cant afford to get out or it's game over!

Run Rate nearing 6.5, if it reaches 7 then were in trouble!

well u never now this ground is small

Pak 82/3 after 25 overs...

160 needed off 25 overs...

The bowler and captain deserve props. I mean they are bowling tight and too the field. but inzi and yousuf are playing it perfectly. this partnership is key.

These two need to bat another 15-20 over atleast...

one or both need to get tons...

How stupid is this! We can all see very clearly that these two are the best players in the team so why the hell are they batting underneath a load of rubbish? Now they are playing catch up and so the run rate is soaring like mad. Why are they not batting at 3 and 4??? Why isn't Younis opening???

I don't think our current batting left can score 120 off 15 overs. At the most 100 off the 15.
If we had Afridi and Razzak then RR does not matter.

Who's going to break this partnership

i think a spinner might change things for pakistan

I'll say it again- if one of these is still there at the 40th over, we still will win InshaAllah- Malik needs to play a good knock as well but Kami, Rana & Rao are all capable for a few quick ones at the end. Gayle will be the key- if he can be taken for 4.5 an over we are ok.

are these guys doing a gavaskar! there seems to be no strategy. one of them should be atacking while the other holding one end

Windies bowlers keeping it simple and just waiting for the mistake.

A game of patience out there - who will crack first.

I feel Smith is the bowler to get after.

sorry guys just checking in , how many catches did we drop and how the hell did WI got fomr 90 in 25 to over 241 , who got hit around

afridi rarely pulled of any games for pakistan when weve needed 120 off 15 overs or 100 off 15 overs...

Razzaqs batting will be missed.

Pak 86/3 after 26 overs

this quite good captaincy from lara. saving gayle. when they have to hit gayle it will be hard.

WI was 77-3 after 25 i believe... so we will be alright as long as we don't lose wickets for the next 10-15 overs.

perhaps we should keep the scoecard ticking for the next 5-8 overs, get the score to 120, that should be a bit of psychological barrier surmounted and then let lose the shackles around the 150 mark.

150 for 3/4 of 37-40 overs should not be that bad

which means we need to score close to 90 runs in 10-13 overs with 6-7 wickets in hand.

which means 70 runs of 12 oversat a rate of around 6 per over

Both are in no hurry to go for it, I guess they are confident that they can slog in the end. I hope they are right. Malik and Akmal will need a few overs to settle as they are not pure sloggers by nature.

50 Partnership between paks big two after 96 balls...

Pak 89/3

Pak 92/3 after 27 overs...

150 needed off 138 balls...

Akmal is and he should come in next. He can win this one for us.

6 off the over, again they are keeping just within reaching distance of the run rate. They'r showing the newbies how its done.

You are assuming that we score 60 in next 10 overs. I don't think they are batting at that rate maybe around 4 or so.

guys...relax...they are pacing their innings very well....as long as it's less than 7 an over with wickets in hand you have a great chance !!

really guys....they are doing exactly what is needed!

brilliant fielding by samuels.

W.I been redhot in field!

these two are very experienced and can handle the RR. RR of 7 is no problem if you have wickets

You need Miandad and Imran in situations like this. We never had the replacement for those two great finishers and now we are paying the price for their loss.

Wow 6 off the over without a risk

hey can anyone tell me who's that tuklooo sitting next to bob
is it the maaalish dude or what..i always see him doing nothing in the dressing room
like whats this guy;s role

2 shots which should have been 4 each are saved and reduced to a single! and inzi almost running himself out!

Malik should be next, he has proven himself in all sorts of situations.

That really shouldve been two there

you guys are tripping singles and wickets in hand will help us cruise to victory. no loss of wickets.

he is another sifarishi who has a do nothing job AND a fat paycheck

they need to start looking for odd boundaries. Maybe a boundary every 3rd over. Singles themselves cannot get you 6rpo.
