1st ODI- Pakistan won by 59 runs (close?)
2nd ODI- Pakistan won by 40 runs (close?)
3rd ODI- Pakistan won by 22 runs (close?)

Last game was tight........but at the end of the day we outplayed them completely. None of the games were 'very close' as you put it.....only the 3rd could really have gone the other way.

What did Sachin do to your team in that world cup game in 2003, when your team despretly needed to win, billions and billions of people was watching the match wordlwide, after Akthar opened his mouth, and Sachin took him out of the attacking with 644, in his 1st over, the rampage went on afterwards after taking him out of the attack.

Dravid told a lovely tale about it on Cricinfo recently. :))) Basically he says he knew poor Sachin had been nailed by Akhtar as he felt the incredible silence the minute after he got back to the Dressing Room himself. :23:

the silence was such that only a girlishy sobbing could be heard from sachin as he dragged himself off the field.

You misunderstood my post, India had 3 very close games, not Pakistan, and the WI team back then are much, much better now, then they was when Pak played them, thier feilding and bowling are superb.

Sorry but only Pakistanis remember those moments, the people of love cricket, around the whole world was watching the world cup match Ind vs Pak in 2003, my Pak mates and you could see clearly in the tv at that match watching the Pak corwd as they was wishing the Pak team hard to win the game, nealry all of them knew what Akthar said about Sachin before the game.

What did the Aussies do to Pak's hopes of winning the world cup in 99?

funny that i remember some indians laughing at the fact that windies players settled pay dispute before pakistan toured and so in essence pak faced a full strength windies side unlike other teams due to the financial dispute
