Will cricket be the same after the top players retire? And will we see similar heroes in the future?

Fab 4 have been brilliant players and a brilliant advertisement for cricket fans across the globe.

After the retirement of AB, was going through the ages of Fab 4 and other top players. Most are ~33 already.

How many more years will we get to see these heroes in LOIs? How many more years will we get to see these heroes in International cricket? And world cricket will surely miss them.

Will the world cricket be the same without them? Will we find similar future heroes, especially ones like Fab 4?

Talents like Marnus, Livingstone, Conway and Rizwan can do something brilliant too

I agree with u. But as u urself said, the cricketers u named were much better and the quality came down when we look at the current cricketers. Based on that if the quality keeps going down we wouldn’t get to see a lot of heroes would we

Don't know about the rest but there won't be another AB.

166(62) in 2015
44(297) in 2015

He was like Wasim Akram, Brian Lara and Shane Warne of his generation. Genius!

i think AB retirement is sadder for the fact that hes the last ATG class batsmen SA produced, and pbly will be for the foreseeable future.

the global game will continue to produce brilliant short format players, his quality test batsmen will be always be rare tho.

On bowlers, I don’t think we will ever see another Anderson. 😔

The bowling duo of Anderson and Broad in England is something else. Unfortunately both are on their last legs
