Saudi Arabia
Russia and Saudi Arabia are both games Egypt can win.
Egypt on it's best form can also beat Uruguay. It really depends on how Egpyt defend as they have enough in attack to score goals against each team they face in the group.
I will say YES Egypt will qualify.

I think they should go to the semis, the furthest an African team has gone was the quarterfinals - both Cameroon and Ghana have made it.

They can qualify for the next round but don't have that good a team. They even conceded 2 goals in extra time the other day to lose from a winning position. They have Salah but I think hes like Adnan Al Talyani in the old UAE team, or Saeed Al Owairan in the Saudi team.

Cameroon did really well back in 1990 and if it wasn't for two penalties they would have beaten England and reached the semis against Germany. The side was probably the most physical side you may ever see barring Wimbledon in the late 80s. Ghana had some real class players.
If Egypt make it past the group stage, it will be a huge success story. I cant recall but I think Egpyt didn't even make the African nations cup finals.

That was Portugal though, Ronado and co are like 5-6 levels above folk like Salah, they should have no issue dominating all the C+ footballing nations though

the same egyptian side defeated Italy a few years ago but failed to win games against minnows to qualify for WC, doubt they are going to deliver at the grandest stage in football. Pressure will get to them for sure and they can't rely on Salah all the time. Every team will be marking him strictly

That's a shame, they were very entertaining last time round and were terrific to reach the KO stage. To get that far shows there is talent but I suppose they don't really give a damn about the footy.

I don't thnk Ronaldo's 5-6 levels above Salah at the moment. Expert opinion has it that on current form, Salah is nearly level/on par with Messi.

That would be fair, I would say his current form is on par with Messi which just reinforces my point that Ronaldo is 5-6 levels above
