I have written in details at post#194 that India gains absolutely nothing by playing this tournament. Normally I am one step ahead than everyone but even I am not able to understand what is cooking in the mind of Indian govt this time. Even right wing media houses like Republic tv and Times now stopped talking about this game.

All these are bahana...you, I and everyone knows it. Pakistan was hosting an ICC event after 28 years. They should have never have agreed to play any matches in Dubai irrespective of whatever BCCI said they will do in future. They should have replaced India with another team and get along with business exactly like India did by replacing Pakistan with Oman for Asia cup hockey. The reason PCB couldnt do it because without India, there is no cricket. No other board will agree to play in a India less ICC/ACC tournament which will probably be shown free on youtube. So India is irreplacable in cricket where as Pakistan not playing in a hockey tournament is business as usual. Nothing mard ke bachey in it

India refused to play in Pakistan because of security concerns, but no other team gave a damn about Indian sentiment and played their own matches in Pakistan.

India thought other teams would follow suit and the whole CT will be shifted to the UAE. In the end, the only thing they achieved was play their own matches in the UAE.

England and Australia played a cracker in Lahore in front of a full house and it was a beautiful slap on Indian faces.

This is how Pakistan humiliated India in response. Not only did they refuse to play in India for the Asia Cup, they forced BCCI to move the entire tournament to UAE.

They could have easily played their matches in UAE while other teams including India played in India, but that didn’t happen.

The richest and most powerful board got bullied hard. Then to cover their embarrassment, delusional Indian clowns claimed that India will not participate in the Asia Cup or will not play vs Pakistan, but that didn’t happen either.

Complete and utter humiliation.

Even in those time clowns on other side of the border were claiming that BCCI wont keep their words and somehow Pakistan will come to India to play. That never happened but shows the scammy upbringing of such individuals. A mark of a low trust society which finds jubilation in scamming and lying.
