That’s the problem with him in top 3. He doesn’t use it to get settled as he struggles early on. He doesn’t hit early on as he isn’t comfortable either.

Babar and Rizwan at least use top order to get a big score and play themselves in. You’ve got to use it for something.

I agree it’s a huge sample especially for a 35 year old. I don’t know why we’re still hoping he’ll turn good there. And some point you cut your losses and play him where he’s actually had success. We can’t keep waiting around. I even want Farhan and Saim to remain openers but regardless it’s clear fakhar’s shot at opening is done. So time to play him middle order or not at all.

These numbers don’t lie. He is bang average as a top order batsman in T20Is and cooks for the opposition.

People cannot explain why he has a lower SR than Babar and Rizwan so the only thing they can say is that numbers aren’t everything. Thats a very weak argument.

I pointed out a simple fact, Haris at no 3 avg 28 sr 161( finn Allen esc), other positions he sucks. Until and unless he fails at no 3 then you can talk about discarding him.

No 7 is a thankless position and we saw how rizzu is failing at that no in CPL. CPL bowling is hogwash. Azam Khan is a superstar in cpl which shows the quality of that league.

In comparison Afghanistan bowlers are miles > CPL bowlers. Ik this since afghani bowlers have killed Azam's career before it even began. They forced shadab to drop azam after his 2nd international game.

Yes a thread i created and the rules i set for the thread are now being changed and altered by you .

We can’t even beat teams like Afghanistan, Bangladesh or West Indies comfortably, so how are we supposed to beat stronger teams with this T20 squad. Too many passengers in the side right now. Haris has no place in this team and Fakhar should only be on the bench, he shouldn’t keep getting chances in top 3.

Bowling also looks weak, and because of too many changes in the attack the bowlers can’t even settle. Trying out new things is fine but we have done way too much of it before the Asia Cup.

The only good thing is at least we are getting some practice matches, because our players are always slow starters even if they only had a month off. All we can do now is hope for the best and that the players who keep failing improve a bit before the tournament. End of the day, it is T20 cricket, any team can fluke a win here and there.
