It is this prchie culture that needs to end. Shoaib Malik will be gone after tomorrow. But their are others like Shan Masood who is Plaguing our test side. His 2 fifties against a weak South Africas side (that lost a test series to Srilanka) will now be played up and he will continue to ruin the test
team. I hope Abid Ali is given a decent run in the test side.

A WC is no place for farewell matches... it's like PCB, coaches, selectors etc... do no learn from their previous mistakes.

They did the same for Younis Khan in the previous WC and look at how that worked out. Played a bunch of "senior, experienced" players and it was an absolute disaster.

A player should not be lobbying to his captain, coach or selector to be in a match. His job is to be ready and if everyone thinks you are good enough to be selected, you will be selected.
