No, because foreign players have made the PSL what it is. They are the ones who have attracted the big money and the sponsors. Without foreign players, the PSL will be reduced to the level of the National T20 Cup.

Anyhow, the idea of the PSL teams playing T20 matches outside the PSL is not very appealing to me. Even though it is unlikely, I would like the PSL franchises to establish teams in F/C and List-A.

PSL without overseas players is nothing different to Pakistan Cup or Faisal Bank T20. We need top overseas players to play for PSL teams and hopefully agree to play in Pakistan as well.

with zalmi and qalandars buying teams in south african domestic league, the thing that is exciting me is matches between these peshawar and benoni zalmis etc.

i hope these two owners expand and get some teams in cpl as well and then we can have a triangular tournament between the three zalmi franchises.

it's a concept that can become really big.
