Quantify “many” and prove first what percentage of vaccinated people have died. What’s many? Give it a number, show me the evidence.

And how about your statement that vaccines work and then your other statement where you are claiming vaccines are killing people the world over. How do you reconcile those two statements?

Thousands according to official figures, theres only so much they can hide.

You are confusing covid vaccine with other vaccines. Covid vaccine was used while in emergency trials, others have had many years of research and testing.

My view is for myself, as Ive wrote many times on this thread. Being healthy, youngish, physically fit i'd rather take the risk of getting covid and developing natural immunity which is many fold better protection than the vaccine. It also takes away the risk of dying from it, no matter how rare still possible.

The bold part is not about it not working against covid but vaccine damage which even posters on here(cause you love this PP polling) have stated has happened to them.

So I am just supposed to believe you when you say they have tried to hide the figures of people who are dying of the vaccine? How much sense does that make? What grounds do you have so far to back your claim that those numbers are being hidden?

We all knew what the covid mortality rate was prior to the vaccine. In the UK it was about 0.8% so you claimed that its not significant enough to justify getting the vaccine. But you claim its bad for you because people are dying from it when the official statistics put covid deaths around 0.0018%? How much sense does that make? Isnt that double standards? Lets admit it you claim others are manipulated by MSM and CNN whereas it is you who is too much into conspiracy theories, theories and figures and stats you like to rattle off without backing them up, with zero grounding in reality and its nothing but hearsay and ramblings and then you expect to convince people here?

Why dont you explain the reasoning? Somehow killing and hurting are different and one insinuates vaccines dont work and the other does? Or it doesnt? I am confused. So if I get the vaccine and I get sick for a day, then it means the vaccine works but I wont take it? Because I will be sick? But wait.. I am not going to take it because even if I do get sick from covid, at least I wont die?

Covid is not serious enough for me to take any vaccine which is being used in emergency use , with no long term data and which has taken thousands of lives. A 5 year old can understand this but you cant Stuart? Maybe get your pals, Bart and Ron to help you.

You are claiming you wont take the vaccine because the mortality rate was less than 2% at the time. But now you are saying vaccines work but you wont take it because there is 0.0018% chance it will hurt you. So what odds are better here?

And why is the discussion veering towards the virus originated from? You think you can easily distract the discussion with lies and such cheap tactics? Vaccines make "natural immunity" faster and more effective.

What you have to realise is that some on this thread are scientific ignorami, knowing nothing of virology, immunology and epidemiology. They dismiss everything outside their science-illiterate worldview.

Others are science-literate but merely seek to argue for the sake of it.

There were people telling their own family members or close friends to stay away if not vaccinated. :))

I never followed a single rule of Covid. Btw in the UK a lady's case against her having a gathering was thrown out as there was never a law for it but people blindly paid the fine before taking it to court, for seeing their own mother.

Vaccines help you with not getting very very sick or drying . It’s just a numbers game. Helps. Nothing is 100 percent . To say vaccines are totally useless is beyond idiotic.

I have never been a fan of Djokavic, but it is disturbing that he has only been denied record world feats in the tennis world due to not complying with experimental drugs.

Oh dear God.

Of course vaccines don’t “stop transmission”. They raise your immune system so that you get sick for less time so you are infective for less time as your immune system knocks the virus out faster. This is an easy concept.

Gobsmacking that people would invent a false criterion for vaccine success in their heads, and then judge Pfizer against that. It’s a self-strawman. But we live in an age of stupidity.

I knew it , many knew it before it came out. The point was the governments , medical authorities pressured people into taking the vaccine calling them out for risking others when Pfizer didnt even test the vaccine for stopping transmission.

So all this Save Lives take the Vaccine was a lie. The lies continued throughout.

Vaccines were always to lower your risks of serious complication. Without vaccinations many more people would have died. That’s a fact.

Once again:

Vaccines.
Do.
Not.
Stop.
Transmission.

They reduce a given infected person’s transmission window because that person knocks the virus in their system out quicker than they would without the vaccine.

That translates into slowing down the rate of transmission through a population.

It also means that fewer Britons got really sick and so the strain on the NHS was reduced and they were able to keep more people alive.

Covid seems to me like an unfinished weaponised virus that accidentally got released from a lab in China due to a scientist error.

Hence it has a low kill rate [1%] but it was originally intended to be much worse — hence the weird long covid symptoms that some unfortunate people experience where they end up being blind, brain damaged, disabled (etc); no common flu does that.

Two of my friends were hospitalised (though thankfully avoided intubation), two more lost parents, and another was effectively crippled.

But a kill rate of 1-2% is still very, very high given the exceptionally fast speed of transmission of this beast. That is one million Britons killed. Given that we lost 188,000 people, that means that mass vaccination saved >800,000 British lives, and countless more from being crippled by Long COVID.

We have to live with it now. Like a nastier version of the flu. I will get my booster every year.

Andrew Bridgen has been suspended as a Conservative MP for spreading misinformation about Covid vaccination.

It comes after the North West Leicestershire MP posted a tweet that compared vaccines to the Holocaust.

Tory chief whip Simon Hart said the comments had "crossed a line" and caused great offence.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also condemned the remarks, calling the comparison "utterly unacceptable".

Mr Hart said Mr Bridgen would lose the party whip - meaning he will sit as an independent - while a formal investigation takes place.

"As a nation we should be very proud of what has been achieved through the vaccine programme," the chief whip added.

"The vaccine is the best defence against Covid that we have. Misinformation about the vaccine causes harm and costs lives."

The BBC has contacted Mr Bridgen for a comment.

The truth is simple, the vaccine was fast tracked to save the white race while big pharma earned the dosh - society is controlled through fear.

Millions are dying in Africa, not a peep from Big Pharma.

I have never tested positive for COVID despite numerous lateral flow and OCR tests. Not that the vaccine stops you getting COVID - it reduces your chance of becoming seriously ill if you do get it.

During “Pingageddon” I had to stay at home from work pending two negative PCR tests at a drive-in centre. We all had to wear masks at our desks.

Regarding Mr Pfizer, vaccines are never “tested to stop transmission”. There’s no objective way to tell which person infects which other persons, vaccinated or otherwise, so any data would be meaningless. All the epidemiologists can measure is the number of cases in an unvaccinated population compared to a vaccination. If the Tory govt said otherwise they were at best ill-informed and at worst lying to the people.

There is no real evidence is stops serious Covid. People become serious due to flu too and die. Its not necessarily the illness but also the general health of the person.

You've never lost taste or smell? The PCR tests were never designed to such a viral illness, as told by the chap who invented them.

The Tory government and others knew but still pressed people to stay away if not vaccinated, remember all the Covid passes? What was the point?

Its just a shame we have so many people who believe governments blindly esp governments known for dropping bombs on babies.

My view is the jab weakens your immunity. I know of many who are vaccinated but become ill regularly now.

That wasn’t possible. While modern epidemiology has shown that it was American Flu not Spanish Flu, nobody even knew what a virus was in 1919.

Jenner had discovered the vaccine for smallpox by then, but he didn’t know what smallpox was caused by.

Absolutely. Not to mention, that for some people as we found out early on in the pandemic, their natural immune response isn’t enough to prevent severe disease and/or death. Sweden tried that initially by trying to build up herd immunity and their rates of hospitalization and death increased past that of their neighbours.

Sure. It was to stop hospitals being overwhelmed to the point of being unable to treat patients, bodies having to be mass-cremated, social disorder and so on.

Look at Spanish Flu - it killed at least 50 million people worldwide, maybe double that. Hospitals of the day couldn’t cope. People were falling dead in the streets. Bodies dumped in mass graves.

Lockdowns and the vaccination programme saved us from a repeat of that.

I did catch Covid last April. Was triple jabbed. Did lose taste and smell (for a day) and was lethargic and tired for 7-8 days. Thankfully no long term effects. I'm hoping the jab helped lessen the effects.

Hospitalizations and deaths reduced after the milder Omicron strain became dominant

Covid death rates in countries with low vaccination rates are hardly any higher than covid death rates in countries with higher vaccination rates

Great to hear James! Of course not medical advise but one of my friends was suffering after vaccination, always becoming ill. I advised her to take blackseed oil, doesnt get poorly as often now. Its a great natural remedy for many things.
