New Year Celebrations in Lahore

I have always wandered this. How do people in Pakistan (for example Lahore) celebrate new year?

Are there fireworks displays, concerts etc?

It's the Christian New Year folks. Have never really understood why people of other faiths get so worked up about it. I went to bed sleeping right through it like a baby. I never do the Christmas or New year thing. No need to wish a happy this or that when you don't celebrate the event.
