With the World Cup just a couple of days away, I thought I would make a thread in Support of Team Pak, so we can all get behind the men in green.
After months of long hard long preperations and training as well speculation on who shall play in the TEAM, we now see the Squads announced with mixed opinions. Wahab in or Wahab out I guess we have now got what we could have selected from anyway so therefore we should just be HAPPY or day I say content.
We will get to see our team play 9 tough games in World Cup mode at least. INSH ALLAH with semi finals, Final to the end of Glory.
With all that we have now, I think we selected the best we had with a Pace attack of all world Cup playing teams and most countries would take any of them as per my opinion any day of the week.
AMIR, our most accomplished and seasoned fast bowler we had available, #World Class.
HASAN Ali, the last few years leave no question on his inclusion taking in account performances in CT17 and after.
SHAHEEN, tall, fast, devastatingly accurate when in full flow, finding the right rhythm will be key for him. Just 19 also.
Hasnain key for him to be able to push seniors and his batch mate. Can become our x factor hopefully with his express pace as we all desire. Looking at the schooling he has had an being withing PCB youth teams a obvious choice over Haris Rauf.
WAHAB a lot has been said already, dare I say a lot have been asking for him or secret desired him in watching the Phainty we have had for last 9 games on trot with our lifeless bowling with ultra timid aggression. Bare in mind both Amir and Wahab have not featured at ALL.
I just feel he can be key in late middle overs and also in PP as proven in key domestic matches of late For me he was always Automatic pick but after he put the world Cup Trophy picture up with his daughter on Instagram I knew he was coming.
Recently we have seen most responsiblity on batting to win games, which they performed exoentionally too so henceforth I am really optimsic for this campaign we have seasoned Pro in Hafeez and Malik a half decent top order and a captain in Sarfraz who has been the teams leader for longer than a year.
