Here again Australia and England dominate. It is a miracle SA without topping any of these tables in the final. England have only to blame themselves for losing penalty points.

I knew Jaiswal and Atkinson were good players but they flew under the radar a bit for me so I was quite surprised to see just how good they have been in terms of runs/wickets. I still consider them newbies but they have stamped their authority on test cricket this cycle.

West Indies had the lowest collective batting average (20.96) and lowest run rate (3.13) of the last World Test Championship cycle

Lol, Root literally avg 54 in the last test cycle but @jeeteshssaxena inventing new semantics :ssmith.

Its time to accept that if root continues at this rate he will surpass Sachin.

17K-18K runs with a 52 avg and 40+ avg in each country played is good enough to be considered > Tenda.

People dont appreciate root enough. Atm he's > Current Steve smith and even before Steve Smith's lapse in form, he was = To smith.

Its only Prime Monster Steve Smith was owning every side and avg 65 and literally dominating to the point that Bradman comparisons were made who is > Current root.

From 2021-2023 Root = Smith = Sachin. The onpy issue is Australia and root's early record.

Root pre 2021 was not that good which is why his current record is hindered due to his past record.
