Would Rahat Ali have been better choice than Junaid Khan and Wahab Riaz for Champions Trophy 2017?

In my opinion,I think he would have been better than both of those spray guns and is also a useful opening bowler just like Bhuvi so why was he ignored for CT and that too due to Wahab and Junaid? He is also a wicket taking bowler

Its not as if rahat set the world alight when he did play in last wc

Rahat isn't great and let's not forget he can not hold a bat and his fielding is awful. If he held that catch in the World cup QF we would have been favourites to beat Australia in Australia

I personally think that there are much much better options than Rahat. Rahat is too similar with Wahab Riaz, as both players should not be in the team

He isn't a List A bowler just like Abass.

Ahmed Bashir & Atif Jabbar are better than current Wahab & Junaid.


Sadaf is at his all time low because of putting on weight but even Current Sadaf will do better than Wahab & Junaid who has averaged 57 in last 9 & 12 Odis excluding today's match.
