I don't blame Roman Reigns. He got as much as he could out of Taker. Taker also turned in a great performance considering he needs a hip replacement.
This was not a bad Mania overall. Booking made sense and some great moments. It fell off after the mixed tag match but bah Gawd the Wyatt vs Orton was the shizzles. Wyatt looking like a low-rent jobber out there with his fancy maggots.
It was a great match, the finishing stretch could have been better; if they cut the match by about 7-10 minutes it would have been perfect overall; Taker did well in the confines of his physical condition and fair play to Reigns as well he took care of Undertaker in the ring and I respect him for that, the right man also went over; not great to see Taker lose but for once a part-timer gives back in the most emphatic way possible and it's only fitting that the man to do so is none other then the selfless Undertaker who has done so much for the industry.
And leathers, Taker will be back for one more match as Big Evil !
Decent mania, man after all that hype and momentum they created for Wyatt they ended up flushing it all down the toilet. Now I sympathise with Wyatt/Orton to an extent because they found themselves in the deadspot so it was going to be tough for them to get the crowd invested, in a way am not dissapointed that Wyatt lost the title because I'd not want him to go over in such a position where his win doesn't get as much buzz and the match wasn't great. The Orton win does absolutely nothing for anyone. We will have a better idea of where they take things from here with the superstar swap next week.
