That is true. Most Aussie posters on here are very rational and realistic. Our fans let the jazba get the better of them. But when the Aussies have given us phainta after phainta in the last 20 years it is to be expected

There is one thing called criticizing the team on merit and then there is personal hatred against a player. Mamoon is known to hate many players and cant see beyond his bias and that is why he picked on by the posters. His bais against Ajmal, Junaid, Ahmed is known to many. Also adds to the injury is that his two favorite players are the worst players ever; sohail tanvir and Umer Amin. He criticizes for the sake of attention sometimes and it shows, likes to play the devil's advocate role.

There is nothing 3rd choice about this. Irfan and Wahab are not Tests material imo, while Ajmal's presence would have made it an illegal bowling attack.

In your opinion, yes, not mine. Or anyone elses for that matter. It would be very hard to find someone else who thinks that Rahat and Imran are a better pace attack than Riaz/Irfan and Junaid. Without making this another chucking thread, I'll say that there are a lot of question marks over this whole chucking issue.

Lets not even mention Amir, Asif and Kaneria.

I've already reported. They've done really well. The kids are doing well, that is what is great. I won't put the cart before the horse, and one test match is just that, one test match.

We were just whitewashed in ODI's and looked awful against SL. I think people need to temper a bit. A test win vs Australia is a huge accomplishment, but the body of work speaks for itself.

Never had doubts about the test team despite the Sri Lanka disaster.
A lot of it, I believe has to do with the captain being given a lot of support in the last couple of weeks. It's a fantastic achievement considering we are effectively playing with ten players (I.e., hafeez meeting the mediocrity quota)

Most of the Srilankan disaster had alot to do with out inability to play Herath on a turning track.

He brought nightmares to most of our batsmen. I think he picked up 6 or 7 wickets in both innings or something if my memory serves correctly.

In the ODI's he turned the second match on his own and after that the team went downhill mentally.

There was nothing special about Srilanka's bowling except Herath and that was the main difference in the end.
