If there was any doubt that Mickey Arthur had one hell of a howler. Successfully managed to run our team into the ground.

DIfference between the captaincy of Misbah and Sarfraz.
I remember how initially in misbahs captaincy people use to bash misbah for playing 2 spinners.
problem is our cricketers believe in this myth that we are a fast bowling nation, we need to stock up with pacers.
Sarfraz is to be blamed here not mickey.
Waqar never got blamed for team selection, it was the captain

That's a good point - Misbah gets blamed for "not staying true to Pakistan's fast bowling heritage" by playing 2 or sometimes 3 spinners.
IT IS THE FRICKIN' UAE - WHY would you play 3 pacers on these dead tracks unless they're Marshall, Holding and Garner ?
Spin is a necessity not a choice. We are bowling Yasir into the ground like this.
Those trying to shift the blame to Sarfaraz:
"No regrets of not going in with another spinner" : Mickey Arthur

And your assumption is that our spinners are such high quality that they would match Yasir Shah in performance?

So you are saying it was Sarfaraz's call to go with three pacers even though:
1. Mickey has said in a press conference that he has no regrets with playing with three pacers
2. Sarfaraz is known for favouring spinners
3. As captain of QG Sarfaraz only goes with two pacers and the rest are spinners
They're both equally responsible.
BTW you cannot compare tactics in T20s to Tests - in T20s you're actively looking to take pace off the ball so spin is a necessity.

I'm sure Arthur made the decision to go with three pacers. And both Waqar and Misbah probably wanted two spinners. But had Misbah been captain and Mickey wanted three pacers, Misbah would have stood up to him and demanded the sane decision of two spinners. While Sarfraz I think just let things slide/wasn't sure. Which does put Sarfraz at blame too.
