We lost to Zimbabwe in the 90s and to Ireland in the 2007 WC - these shock results are always in the Pakistani DNA. That same 2013 Zimbabwe series Younis Khan scored a double ton to win us a Test so quite silly to attack their performance on that tour.
But yes, let's ignore the contributions both made to beat England twice in 2012 and 2015 without losing a Test, lets ignore whitewashing Australia in 2014, lets ignore Younis Khan getting up from a hospital bed with Dengue Fever to score a hundred just DAYS later versus the West Indies last year, lets ignore beating Sri Lanka away in 2015 including a RECORD 4th innings chase thanks to these two, lets ignore drawing IN England when everyone wrote us off and lets ignore winning in the Caribbean for the first time in our history.
BTW we beat New Zealand away in 2011 but obviously one resorts to selective memory to justify a weak argument.
They scored a combined total of around 15,000 runs, were our MOST productive partnership in our Test history averaging 70 and helped us reach #1 in Test rankings. But yeah, they held us back. What nonsense !
Amazing how ungrateful and unappreciative the Pakistani quam can be.
