Oh in terms of bats I would say I like the following brands;

Hmm,Some very interesting dislikes like:GM,Newberry,SG...
As far as I know Adidas don't make their own bats....

wow looks like u guys have some pretty negative thoughts on SS, but when I buy a bat I usually try to ignore the manufacturer and try to focus on the shape and the face of the bat, but in softs I do recommend SS, CA and BDM
 
SS softs are probably the best without a doubt but there bats let them down in my opinion, consistency in all shapes really.

SS may produce goods of really good quality but to me they are damn ugly...
from their bat stickers to their softs....

No offence...

If only they can create something which does not look "khaat"........

I seem to agree with you BUT Millichamp and Hall softs in my opinion are amazing and they are extremely classy.

Boom Boom, Mongoose and Aero softs might look extremely good but believe me when you try them they aren't that good. I'm talking about Mongoose and Boom Boom from personal experience had them and they look good but don't feel well at all! Aero tried at the shop and didn't like them at all! There gloves are worst in my opinion.

I got M&H Distinction gloves not too long ago and they are quite brilliant in my opinion.

Actually M&H are known not to have best looking grains nor they are best looking bats out there. However, they do perform once fully knocked in.

How do you find the sweatband on the gloves, they look interesting, and I take your point with the bats, looks of course aren't everything. I saw the other post about the m&h original and I must say that it looks an absolute stunner.

1) BAS (Too small i find)
2) Reebok

4) Puma IRIDIUM Bats

6) Slazenger top end Models (Mid range models are better value)

I haven't used the gloves in nets or games yet, however, one downside I'd say is that a tan leather is over lapping the sweatband so if I were to wipe off my sweat then it would be leather doing that.

I'll post a picture for you sometime, as my words might not be explaining properly.

SS seems to be the brand which most ppl love to hate :)...Lot of ppl complain about the bat shapes being the same in SS across models but is that necessarily a bad thing?

I was watching the BPL highlights over the weekend and it looked like they were playing in an SS showroom...almost every Batsman was using one...even Ahmed Shehzad was using an SS with Mids stickers on the bat :D

Yeah, the leather was what put me off the gloves to be honest.

SS has the quality but aesthetics wise they are not good,
to Me...at least......

The Millenium Pro gloves are amazing! Used them and they were brilliant!

Richard I was not impressed with that too but once you wear and hold the bat they feel brilliant though.
 
man there are no bad brands,some people dont like the feel of their products
but everything is good.
nothing specific,if you really want to kno i love GM and GN.
