There's no space for naming a few of your favorite batsman or bowler. You will have to name just one of each :)

My turn -

Batsman - Sachin (Yes, I'm biased)

Bowler - Warne

Yours? (It'll be fun when we all name just one of our favorite batsman and bowler :) )

Loved Saeed Anwar but didn't see enough of him so I'll go with Younis Khan.
Loved Shane Bond but didn't see enough of him because he was always injured so I'll go with Dale Steyn.

I'm sure if I saw Miandad's career he would have been my favourite batsman. Same applies to Imran or if I saw all of Wasim and Waqar's careers.

Favorite Batsmen: Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik, ABD, Ricky Ponting
Favorite Bowlers: Shane Warne, James Anderson

Tough to name just one of each but:

Batsman: Hashim Amla.
Bowler: Saeed Ajmal.

I only started to properly follow Pakistan cricket from around 2008

Batsman: Yousuf Youhana/Mohammed Yousuf
Bowler: Umar Gul from 2007-2011, he was something to watch

I would have put Shoaib Akhtar for favourite bowler, but unfortunately I never seen him enough, just odd flashes here and there, unlike Mohammed Yousuf who was fit and consistently in the team from when I could remember and actually followed a little.

Batsman - Easy AB de Villiers Favorite batsman easily love watching him bat!
Bowler - Wasim Akram doesn't matter if I didn't see him play highlights are enough for him to be my favorite. Although from the bowlers I've seen I'd have to say Dale Steyn.

Batsman: Sachin (admittedly I didn't get to watch him live much due to being US based)
Bowler: none

Out of current players:
Batsman: Mominul
Bowler: Taskin

Younis Khan, Brian Lara and KP

Shoaib Akhtar, Shane Warne and Darren Gough

Honourable mention: Shahid Afridi, Misbah ul Tuk, Dale Steyn, Mohammad Ashraful, Tamim Iqbal and Wasim Akram

Brian Lara. Never seen a batsman playing with such fluency, grace and timing.
Malcolm Marshall. The greatest fast bowler as far as I am concerned. Sheer pace, the ability to swing it and a vicious bouncer, he had it all. The great man left this world to soon.

Favourite bowler without even having to think about it is Akhtar. Pure box office. Edge of the seat stuff. The reason i got into the game was my dad and akhtar. My dad would have had his work cut out getting me into the game with the quick bowlers around today. I assumed 94-97mph most delieveries would be a fairly normal thing, only now do i realise how spoilt i was by akhtar and brett lee in the same generation.

how about we add wicket keeper to the list too, pure wkt keeper so lets not just keeo hearing Gilchrist

All-time:

Martyn/Gibbs
Waqar/Bond

Currently:

Root
Boult

All-time favorites.

1. viv
2. khan
3. lillee

and no ive not seen them play. i am more in sort of love with their legend and that will never change.

Brian Lara
Wasim Akram (Although I loved watching Shoaib Akhtar bowl too)

Batsman: AB Devilliers
I have not watched a more complete batsman than him in my lifetime.

Bowler: Curtly Ambrose
He was unplayable at times. Look at his ER in ODIs.

Tendulkar among the batsmen.
Head and shoulders above everyone in his era. You simply couldn't ignore the aura he carried with such style, grace and humility. The most well balanced batsman, textbook technique, with god given gift of majestic timing. Had the highest range of strokes. Was among the best against spin and pace, both home and away. Fortunate to have witnessed his career. He's the player i am always going to miss the most.

Among bowlers, there are a few. Can't isolate one with the same interest as i could do for Sachin among batsmen which also explains why he is apart from being the best among the batsmen, always remains the best overall cricketer as well by far in his era.

All time I'll go with Viv and Ambrose.

Post 2000s AB/Kohli and maybe Malinga.
