Your favourite things about Australia

Have never been there, although lots of Brits aspire to live there, but what do you like about the country?

For me it it was probably Kylie Minogue. Not a particularly talented actress or singer but she was quite stunning in a girl next door kind of way. Although I never had any girl come close to that living next door to me.

From my life changing trip here were my favourites:

1) Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef
2) The relaxed and friendly beach culture and active lifestyle even in the bigger cities
3) Feeding a kangaroo and holding a koala at a sanctuary
4) Great Food some of the best bbq and steaks are there
5) Watching the new years fireworks over the harbour in Sydney

Isn't it really hot out there for a lot of the year?

Went to Adelaide earlier this year, got chased by a drunk homeless man at midnight with a sharp broken bottle in his hand. So, yeah not much!

Don't they have a large number of dangerous animals (snakes, spiders etc.)?

Also, seems like an extremely hot country.

Not my type of country.

I am a fan of their cricket team though.
