I did think India, Pakistan and England were the three hot favourites for the tournament before it started. India bombed spectacularly, leaving England and Pakistan as the remaining favourites.

I think England are the favourites to win the tournament followed by Pak. AUS are certainly an inferior side in T20s compared to Pakistan as T20 is by far the weakest format for Australia. But in a knockout scenario, anything can happen.

It doesn't really matter much now. I would be extremely happy if they win the world cup but I only wanted them to win that match against India and I more than content with that win.

Ok well the vast majority of ex cricketers I have listened to have said nothing about it and are perfectly happy with Babar and Rizwan. I'd assume the one's vouching for Sharjeel are the same one's who were lobbying for Sarfraz to take Rizwan's place a couple of month's ago.

Anyway as I said, the most powerful person currently within the PCB has a zero tolerance towards fixer so don't think we'll be seeing much of Sharjeel anytime soon

Australia has got momentum. They looks confident. I think Pakistan loosing the semi is on the card. Three big weak points are there for Pakistan. The two 'S' Shadab and Shoib plus Hasan. Aussies will target these 3 no doubt. If these 3 cant overcome, Pakistan will loose for sure

I will be sad but I think both teams have 50-50 chances to win the match. Fakhar zaman and hasan ali are weak links. Pakistan should have at least tried dahani against namibia and scotland.

Whilst a loss to Australia would be disappointing, it wouldn't be a disaster.

Same feelings..only time will tell whether reaching semis have done good for us in near future or not

even though there are performances , I am still not convinced that likes of Asif Ali, Malik, etc. would even try to deliver anything in next 2 years except for being in the team

Disappointed but not a big surprise would be more surprising if we lost a low scoring match decent tournament so far but everything has gone for us the type of matches plus batting second against India and New Zealand.

I just don't wanna be one of those "I told you so" mama ji, IF God forbids we lose because we bat first with an unchanged team and end up scoring a low total that we won't be able to defend in dew.

Lets hope we win the toss and put them into bat.

The manner of the defeat makes it very tough to take. But stepping back, we won all 5 group games comprehensively, beating NZ and India, and were in the game right till the end in the semi. None of us predicted such a performance before the tournament. This World Cup has been positive.

We should take this momentum, learn from the mistakes and move forward. Proud of the team, but tough to swallow.

Amir has been poor in CPL and psl not sure how he deserves a come back.
