Among celebrities Yumna Zaidi is currently my fav. An amazing actress and an even better person. Simple , Humble and doing great justice with her profession.
Hamza Abbasi is also good more so for his social work but would like him to give opinions on things he has researched about otherwise that can led his fans in the wrong direction.

Well I am requesting exception...
Otherwise, people would hate me if I put myself and my friends in this list.

You can still put your favorite Zulfi Ali Bhutto. He has the distinction of being able to make it to both living and late lists.

How can I forget Matser Ayub. Teaching underprivileged kids in F-6 islamabad for last 30 years without charging them. Teaches them in an open park and have personally met him. Amazing guy one of my favorite. These are our unsung heroes.

Jibran Nasir is an empty vessel

How so? There's very little room in Pakistan for people like him to act so him at least keeping human rights and extremism part of the public discourse and offering a contrarian viewpoint is significant. I remember a few years back Chaudhary Nisar was stonewalling attempts to arrest and charge the Burqa molvi from Lal Masjid for various crimes, claiming there were no pending cases or evidence against him. Jibran Nasir and his supporters compiled a file of all the cases and evidence against him and mailed it to every member of parliament. That's not something too many people would have attempted, especially against Lal Masjid given they can easily get away with just about anything.

Jibran Nasir is an empty vessel

You are woefully wrong. Jibran Nasir led protests against Mullah Aziz despite receiving threats from the TTP, with the TTP's spokesperson personally calling him and ordering him to stop the protests or face death. Despite that, he stood his ground and continues to speak out against Mullah Aziz , the TTP and their ilk.

During this period, his fellow activist, Khurram Zaki, has been shot dead in Karachi by the TTP but Jibran remains unfazed and continues with his activism against terrorism and hate preachers.

Last month, following the blast in Parachinar, he was the first activist to speak out and protest against the media blackout after which the incident received much attention and his actions spurred various notables to visit Parachinar. He ,himself, visited Parachinar despite the security threats.

Just last week, he visited the family of Punhal Sario -an anti-enforced disappearance activist who himself was picked up by state security agencies - to show solidarity with the family and he called upon security agencies to release him.

I hope you admire and appreciate the work Jibran Nisar is doing for a better Pakistan while you and I sit thousands of miles away in safe and just societies, away from the all the violence and blood.
