Your top five batsmen who debuted post 2000s?

All formats?

1) Amla
2) Sanga
3) ABD
4) Clarke
5) KP

I rate performances in tests much higher than those in T20s. Test achievements are also more important than ODI achievments.

Younger players like Smith and Root have only recently become world class and they cannot be picked over players who have played fot several years post 2000, and who we witnessed not just having peaks but also low-points. They would feature in a post-2010 discussion.

Younis and Cook miss out because they were not good LO players but would definitely feature in a test-only discussion.

What does post 2000s imply ?? From 2000 i.e. ??? If so then:

2. Younis Khan
3. Ross Taylor
4. Sanga
5. Smith

I started from #2 because the greatest batsmen to debut post 2000s is Fawad Alam
