He was handed his Olympic medal through corruption, ever since has been marketed extremely well; one of the greatest media trained fighters in history. Listen to his interviews he comes across as a guy who is being heavily scripted what to say, he has the personality of a potato and is one big gimmick fed to gullible people who will delusionaly defend him till death and I don't know what for because AJ as a human being sucks, is boring and no where near as good as he is made out to be as a fighter. I understand Pakistani's sucking up to him because they have an inferior complex we know that whilst the others are just those typical bigots you find at the pub who eat up anything that is fed to them. It's shocking we've not had a speculative article at the very least none of the main stream press have covered this story.

AJ did not beat the man, he beat a shadow. To be the man you gotta beat the man as Ric Flair said WOO! And Fury beat THE MAN, a lineal super champion who was in fighting form, 11 years unbeaten and not inactive for 2 years, on the wrong side of 40 and a man who had been beaten 2 years earlier. AJ's next big win was Charles Martin, another bum and Dilian Whyte who at the point was competing at the domestic level. But people go on as if he has beaten Wilder, a fighter he is continues to duck because they want to make the big money fight with Fury asap now that they have a legit chance of winning because he is 25 stone and has been inactive for so long; this is the type of champion AJ is, low risk high reward and enjoy the applause from delusional casuals.

He'll be hyped for at least another year I reckon, he can probably get away with beating hand picked fighters for that long. They will ruthlessly pursue the Fury fight because he is beatable now given his weight, past issues and 2 year inactivity so the sooner they get Fury in the ring the better for AJ, plus it's the biggest money fight in the UK and will probably shatter all the box office records here.

I completely agree. The idea of him being a very well trained media fighter is shown by all of his interviews and videos he's been in. Surely a champion should be able to beat the best during his time and not have to pick and choose who he fights to his advantage? Tyson Fury did extremely well to beat Klitschko back in 2015 imo, and even if he fought Joshua now I think he'd give him a very hard time in the ring. I still think Joshua would struggle despite how rusty Fury would be.

AJ's script tends to revolve around that annoying / artificial laugh and hypocritical catch phrase 'stay humble / hungry in every outing when the camera's are recording but simple people seem to relate to it all and find it entertaining. You're right that in normal circumstances one would expect a fighter to face their mandatory's but we're talking about a guy who was literally handed the IBF championship which was unethically stripped of Fury right after he beat Wladmir, this is the type of influence which matchroom have and it's also vindicated by how his recent outburst on twitter has not been covered even speculatively by any main stream outlet.

Both those fighters have been criticised heavily for their casual racism, the media didn't let them get away with it; but AJ gets a pass from them though and especially the fans. He is very faithful to his sponsors, Stubhub are being investigated for exploiting their customers; if the good AJ keeps faith in them in such a difficult period am sure they would scratch his back, besides he has a drug dealing conviction to they never had a problem with that, plus a lot of fans point out that it was only a little weed, awwww.
