A 13-year-old schoolboy cricketer in England has taken six wickets in six balls, all of them clean bowled.

Luke Robinson produced his match-winning performance this week for Philadelphia Cricket Club's Under-13s, based near Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear in north-east England.

His family were all on hand to witness his remarkable achievement, with father Stephen having the best view of all - he was umpiring at the bowler's end at the time.

Meanwhile, mother Helen was the first person to record her son's feat as she was scoring the match, while Luke's younger brother Matthew was fielding and grandfather Glenn was watching from the boundary.

"It was surreal," said Stephen Robinson, who plays for the senior side.

"I have been playing for 30 years and have taken hat-tricks but never anything like this.

"Time stood still and I thought, 'is this really happening?'"

Lol quite lovely, his whole family was involved in the match:)

Opening this thread I was expecting it to be a story from India. These things seem to happen mostly there. Nice surprise though.

Such things can happen is street level cricket when the bowler is too good for batsmen.

Something i always dreamed of when i was a kid.

Btw good to see the whole family involved. Wish i had a family like that one. Everyone soo much into a cricket match

I was involved in 5 wickets in one over by my best friend in my school days . He took 5 wickets in one over. all 5 bowled. I was the 3rd batsman to be bowled. He had this impeccable length that none of was able to read.
