I always thought that some of the things shown in "The Da Vinci code" were quite plausible. That the modern version of the Bible used by the Vatican could possibly be a highly modified/manipulated version of the event that actually occured . I'm not saying the movie is true but that things like that could surely have been done ..

If the Vatican really is in shock, then surely this newly discovered Bible may contain contradictions to their version...

A secret Bible in which Jesus is believed to predict the coming of the Prophet Muhammad to Earth has sparked serious interest from the Vatican.

Pope Benedict XVI is claimed to want to see the 1,500-year-old book, which many say is the Gospel of Barnabas, that has been hidden by the Turkish state for the last 12 years.

The £14million handwritten gold lettered tome, penned in Jesus' native Aramaic language, is said to contain his early teachings and a prediction of the Prophet's coming.

The Vatican is taking this finding seriously. They have asked the Turks permission to verify it's auhenticity

Thank you brother. I did go through it. It shortly mentions that Crucifixion did not take place but it doesn't state that if not Crucifixion than what took place.

Discovered and kept secret in the year 2000, the book contains the Gospel of Barnabas – a disciple of Christ – which shows that Jesus was not crucified, nor was he the son of God, but a Prophet. The book also calls Apostle Paul "The Impostor". The book also claims that Jesus ascended to heaven alive, and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place.

It is believed that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Many biblical texts have begun to surface over time, including those of the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospels; but this book especially, seems to worry the Vatican.

Yes old news.. This bible was discovered in the year 2000. Most Christians considered it a hoax until recently when the Vatican showed interest and decided to verify it's authenticity

How convenient that a bible contradicting the basic catholic theologian principle and give credence and veracity to islamic argument that Jesus was merely a prophet and not the son of god otherwise believed my millions was found in none other than a Islamic country.
Besides how does thing like this 'son of a god' argument can even be proven?You either are or you are not.I highly doubt a few torn pages of some ancient version of new testament are going to convince the christians otherwise.There is no such thing as proof when it comes to religious and spiritual matters.You just gotta have faith, throwing logic and rationality out of the window.And before anyone attacks hinduism,I m an hindu atheist which is basically same as non practicing muslim so completely cool with any insult you throw at the archaic indian dharma.

One must be really naive to believe that everything written in modern version of bible is directed lifted from the original source and wasn't tempered or altered with by the clergy at Vatican.The church was notorious for manipulating things in its favor and clamping down on dissent for many centuries and I won't be surprised if they removed or modified a few objectionable things from the bible which didn't suit their cause.
