No evidence to overturn that at all. Windies were robbed.

There was definitely a very small noise, There will always be controversial calls like that without hotspot.

Again ridiculous decision is made here as well. Quality of umpiring and the rules surrounding it are ridiculous.

Consistency of umpiring is very poor. Different match different rules, different team different rules. If there is not enough evidence, decision goes to on-field umpire call. But it was not in this case, wasn't it?

They should have similar rules for all the matches irregardless, or for none at all. No double standards according to the hierarchy's whims. My stance is, if the technology is there, use it. Also since this yes/no approach to new technology umpiring standards have gone down the drain.

And that's lunch, will go watch half an hour's worth of mindless IPL.

If correct decisions are not made even with technology then whom to blame then?

No-one has stopped Aus. and WI to go for all technology available. It's not other team's fault that WI can't afford it.

Does Bishoo have a googly? Don't think I've seen one yet.

Like I said before Australia look nowhere like playing this math, its as if the coach is shoving the players on to the field

Bishoo needs to fire.. would love to see a follow on

I would not enforce the follow on on this pitch. It is playing a few tricks already. No way would I want to risk having to chase 150-200 batting last.

WI have been terrible with their use/not use of referrals.

Some more wickets needed here urgently for WI. 2 more by the end of the day and its there day.

Going to be a draw.

Good effort by Windies though.

What a shame the weather spoiling a fascinating test match. A win for WI against Aus would be massive.

Is it just me or does anyone else have the impulse to punch someone in the face when they refer to football as "soccer"

Soccer -> derived from Assoc. -> Association -> Association FOOTBALL

I don't see what the issue is: soccer is a diminutive of Association, as in Association FOOTBALL, to distinguish it from other forms of football e.g. US/Canadian football, Australian rules, even rugby, which in itself is a rebel version of football (on which the colonial football games are almost certainly based).

pitch might deterioate more.

Yeah I expect result or 8-9 down draw. Gonna be a nailbiter.

Even if they get a lead of 100, WI are still capable of a collapse & leave Oz to chase 250.

Or if Castro has a hot day & Bishoo gets some luck then Oz could be rolled. Oz batting is brittle at times these days.

Interesting match.

This is going to be a really hard grind. I think we're still in with a sniff though. Just need to bat through to tea and try and get to 400. Then we can see who blinks first after tea and early on day 5.

The snail like batting so far in match probably means game will end in a draw. W.I if they want to win this game would need to bowl aussies out in 1st session on day 4 and then pretty much bat and score quickly for 2 sessions and declare.

yah they need a first innings lead of at least a 100 or so.

W.I into the tail with Hussey gone. in saying that aussie tail is pretty strong!

Half a chance here for w.i

if Windies get a lead of 150 they should come out positively today and try to play quickly and get a lead of 350 and then declare

what a start, windies could get themselves into a very strong position here, the greater the lead the more time they should have to bowl aus out.

How is that tail strong? Pattinson is not playing and you seem to overrating the batting of Siddle and Harris.

Hilfys no mug with the bat and harris has ability to be a nuisance as well.

In saying that W.I could gain a pretty good lead here.

Lead is good enough but I wont be surprised if WI bundle out around 100-120 and let Aus chase something around 270-300.
