It will be an interesting match to watch. Hope Afridi plays in the final & hits another 45 ball century!
Another guy to watch out for will be Asif Hussain. He has given some decent perfromances lately.
and last but not least, Eagles finally cudnt ride on PCB's shoulder anymore. Malik is proly a happy man now.

Dont say anything about Eagles you are saying as if they went and told the officials to change the result after the match against Stallions. I was supporting Eagles and Lions sadly both of them are out now, Ill be supporting Faislabad now as I cant stand Moin Khan for some reason and also that bald off spinner.

Nauman, That was an indirect attack at PCB. Didnt mean to offend Eagles.
Actually, I am quite proud of Salman. He played well throughout the tournament. The guy has a bright future ahead of him inshallah !

Here is wat commentators had to say abt him:

Another positive aspect of the tournament was Malik's batting...but unfortunately it got over shadowed by the controversy.
and oh yeah... another important thing noted was dat Akhtar has actually gained some weight.

Pretty soon would be fat and bald like me and asked to manage the team instead of actually playing in it and let me tell you thats a great blessing.

confused...I could swear a saw post earlier today indicating Karachi lost to Lahore by 4 wickets.

So howcome Karachi is through to the finals?

NO lahore in the final. PCB will loose lot of money. THey will sue karachi and faislabad for not letting lahore play in the final.

The pp timer imo is wrong. There is no way the match starts in 10 hours (even if the PCB site says so). That would be 12 am in Pakistan I think they got gmt and pst mixed up!

guys just wanted tell about Fahadullah khan i ahev played cricekt against him........Tape Ball cricket that is........saw him yesterday and was very happy for him.......that was in 1996 to 1997 we played almost every weekend night in a ground called Purdah park in Noth Nazimabad........first time(in 1996 i was 16 at that time) i bowled to him i beat him twice and got him out bowled the third ball.......ppl watching the match praised me whole day........that was the day i came to know Fahadullah......he wasnt physically as powerful as he is now but he hit teh sixes almost at will.......his prignal tape ball team was Bombay town and his cousin Irfanullah also used to play in that team both were monsters..........they used to hit more sixes than fours i remember once playing for his team in FB area we were chasing 144 in 15 overs both the cousins finished that game..in 10th over Fahad hitting 11 sixes
i left serious cricket for serious studies and never had contact agains with them

well don't know about UK but it's gonna start at 7pm PST.
 
3pm UK time is what I am led to believe. FM100 are one of the official sponsors...but strangley they are not covering the game!

What is Moin doing. He can't score at his usual pace and is being outdone by the tailenders. I don't think Karachi will get a defendable score today. Naved Latif is also back for the wolves.

Maybe Moin has his mind on the Windies and wants to be considered for the test matches.

Karachi will win this because MOhammed Hafeez will look in the mirror in the dressing room, subsequently he will remember who he is and forget that this is 20/20

Faisalabad will be 82/4 after 20 overs. Hafeez will hog the strike for much of this time.
 
I just checked up, and this Amin-ur-Rehman kept for Pakistan in the emerging teams tournament in Sri Lanka a few years back. He seemed a very good keeper but not such a great batsman. But here hes playing as a specialist batsman. PRetty odd

The wolves are off to a good start with Hafeez leading the way. On the domestic circuit, it seems Hafeez is a big star! He is hitting sixes and scoring very quickly indeed.

Looks like the wolves will win this one from here, Moin should have scored quicker for the dolphins to set a more challenging total.

BUT WAT EXACTLY HAPPENED??? ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE, THEY SAID IT WAS A THRILLER!!! AND APPARENTKY KARACHI TOOK 168 MINUTES TO FINISH THERE OVERS!!!

WHAT TOOK THEM SOOOO LONG????
 
it was a gr8 game tody..and easily the best match of the tournament!

Faisalabad chsed the target with just 1 ball to spare!..the crowd was awesome..over 45 thousand people saw the game in the stadium which according to commentators is the highest ever attendance for any game played at Qaddafi Stadium(including all international games) :O
 
arsal_pakfan, can u sort of explain why karachi took ages finishing their overs. were they just taking ages adjusting the field? or was their some sort of pada shada going on???
 
I tipped my team from day 1...best domestic team in Pakistan...forget the superstars...forget the egos...forget the match throwers...FAISALABAD are the heroes of Pakistan cricket.

The longer the selectors ignore these champions the better!!!!
 
2 of the stars in offspinner ajmal and sami niazi show again they have what it takes. Ajmal is the best offspinner in pakistan right now - has experience as well
