2015 World Cup Result : Sri Lanka beat spirited Afghanistan by 4 wickets

Ugly from Nabi. Now this puts Afghanistan in serious danger of getting all out without playing their full quota.
 
260 is max afg looking at they don't have consistent players. This is bound to happen. Y'all calm down
 
If Afghans play out their full 50 overs, 250 is guaranteed. Problem is, they might not last that long.

Burn out. Played 5 useless odis vs india, then 7 odis vs England and then 2tests + 7odis.They'll recover soon. Not bad enough to get choked by Bangla.

This is where teams like Afghans get exposed.

Missing one world class batsman who can guide the innings as well keeps the score board ticking at 6RPO.

I was expecting Afghans to throw the good start away and they did it.

Last 5 overs, 10 runs 2 Wickets.

That powerplay destroyed Afghans momentum and any hopes of scoring above 270. Now they need someone down the order to play a blinder.
 
I guess only the last 5 overs would be exciting, too much tuk tuking going on.

Yeah, I'm an Aerospace engineer. I've got a BSc. Eng in Aerospace engineering and MSc. in Aerospace Management (which I obtained from Embry-Riddle, Daytona Beach). And I dont think its the best job in the world (certainly it is for me though). Stop embarressing yourself

Nice spelling for someone who is a master's degree holder :23: Visiting 19 countries is not a big deal. Doing it while trolling 24 hours on PP alone is. In fact its quite impossible. Afghani batsmen have Umar Akmal type mindsets. Could've gotten to 250+ maybe even 300 against this attack if they just built their innings when they were 138/3. Got starts and then just threw it away.

These associates have decent talent, they just need more exposure at this level, and these brain farts will be ironed out.
 
200 up for Afghanistan, would be nice if they could could get to 250.
 
Wicket has some wicked bounce and carry.Shapoor will be a big threat against our top order

Afghanistan have scored enough runs, I am expecting them to win this one. Hamid Hassan, Shapoor Zadran and Dawlat Zadran will be too hot to handle for Lankans. Go Afghanistan. Ba behtarin arezooha

I know him from another forum. He is actually an aurospace engineer :facepalm: not sure about 19 countrolies and NzCricketfan is 30+. Forum is a weird place lol
 
We need to chase whatever they post in 40 overs or something to get our NRR up.

Afghan players need to play some Pak/Indian/Bangladesh domestic tournaments to get more exposure. Especially their batsmen.

Why are you laughing at me supposedly "never been anywhere". As though going overseas is an indicator of class. What it does is it shows YOUR low class. For people like you, its much more prestigious to be a dog in America than be a Lion at home. And for the record I lived in the US for 10 years. Yet you dont see me bragging about it.
