2026 edition - Australia has never suffered a humiliation like the one handed down by Pakistan

One would have expected some level of quality and competent application from the main big Bash players which is regarded as the second best T20 league in the world from a quality point of view.

Not once did any batter look remotely good enough in these conditions against our pacers and spinners.

Subcontinent players get judged very harshly for not performing in sena conditions, what about these celebrated Aussie big Bash stars in the subcontinent?

Tbh pakistan fared much better in australia in t20 than what australia has done here margin of defeat was really less in australia when pakistan played there.

Fair to say Pakistan has locked Australia’s mojo in a cage and Australia has been violated.

Three matches.
Three thrashings.

Almost as if a major team is playing against a minnow.

This kind of consistent domination and violation of the Australian cricket team hasn’t been seen in a long time.
#AsianBloc on the rise again? India have hammered NZ at the same time.
BrothersofDestruction vibes once again

Bro Pakistan gave full Rehman Daqait khaufnuma treatment to the Kangaroos. They’re now mentally scarred for life. Will they ever even return.

As someone who saw pretty much the entire season of the Big Bash this year I don't feel it's anywhere near the second best league. The quality of talent is not that great. Way too many Australian domestic players and not nearly enough international-level talent or even Australian national team talent. It's a local product that succeeds at being that.

I didn't start this post. I think PP server going haywire because of some breaking news.

It's that its 'Austrailian' is why it's it's hyped. If this was an English or a Kiwi noone would bother

Yeah Pakistanis are obsessed with being 'Australian' while showing none of actual values or work-ethic that makes Australian sporting culture what it is

I tried giving it a shot 3 or 4 times. Apart from commentary it is a very one-dimensional league where not all the skill levels are tested.

Same. Definitely enjoyed a few games but I mostly followed the rest of the season through highlights. Lack of star power definitely hurts this league big time.

They built a team for flat tracks where the ball doesn't turn or slow up. On good flat tracks this team will still do well. Just remember Australia team lost badly like this with very low scores in Bangladesh in 2022 right before world T20. They went on to win the Title just by winning the toss. They punished the bowlers under lights. They are still strong contenders.

Then That means they are flat track bullies margins of defeats were so big it looked like pakistan was playing uganda i mean loosing 2 t20 by 100 odd runs is just too big.

I mean at you look at england they are destroying sri lankan spinners on the other hand Australia looks proper minnows vs spin i mean margin of defeats were 100 odd runs that shows how well england play spin compare to this overrated Australian track bullies australia.

I don't think you can read too much into these games. These pre world cup games probably shouldn't even have international status.

Their trophy cabinet says otherwise.

Last time Australia did so badly in T20s - they won the World T20 few weeks later

So I m really worried 🤐🤐

I think it went up in intensity when the test players came back after the Ashes

Australia in ICC events are a different beast. Almost like they switch into alpha mode once they play ICC events

Though it was a T20 format. I can't recall Australia getting out beaten the whole series. Not even for a moment it felt like they were in the game.
Can you remember a hammering australia received from any other than pak i mean Australia were badly hammered in all games.

Nobody should call them for a series before the World Cup.

Tbh the wickets were pretty fair. There was basic spin on offer for the spinners and some swing for Shaheen with the new ball. Yet the Aussie batsmen batted as if they were playing on Indian Day 5 dustbowls

Weren't Australia thrashed by 5-0 by B'desh in 2021 before the T20 WC as Australia went on to win it.

The remaining unnamed are the reason for 3-0.

There’s a world cup coming up, you’ll realize soon what I’m saying.
Yes, Marsh, Head, Stoinis, Inglis, Zampa etc featured in the top wicket takers and run scorers for this series.

The rest of the players brought them down and they got white-washed 3-0.

You should write for @Devadwal ’s cricket blog.

Valid point.
Why should the high water mark always be SENA conditions and why failures in Asian SC conditions be brushed off as not important enough?
It was Pak vs Aus and if main players were not playing, it was all the more important for the secondary guys to stand up and be counted. If they coudn't handle the heat - the kitchen's not the place. Pak beat what was in front of them and good game to them.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great achievement in itself. But doing this against a full strength Australian team would have left no doubt. There’s always a question mark, no?
You guys are always jumping around with the same excuses when India beats anybody - phalan players missing and dhikan player missing. It works both ways.
Dev Adval doesn’t need me, he’s happy by himself.

I’m my own person anyway - my thoughts and convictions are my own and not influenced by anybody else’s.

Australia got a bad thrashing but you cannot just put them down that easy... They are a beast of a team when it comes to ICC events...

Australia will beat most teams batting second under lights.

Turning tracks like the ones in Pakistan will be their headache.

They have only Sri Lanka and the minnows to contend with on turning tracks in Sri Lanka.

Rest of the Super 8 games will be in India where their batters will feast on good batting wickets and use all their IPL experience to good effect. Bowlers like Hazlewood and Zampa should also do well on Indian wickets. Hazlewood's reputation in the IPL is well-known. Their bigger concern is fitness of these two and a few other players who are coming back from injuries.

Zimbabwe has 4 spinners in Cremer, Masakadza, Burl & Raza.

Australia will struggle in group stages on turning tracks in Sri Lanka.
