2nd T20I Result : New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by 9 wickets

Guptill is a world class T20 batsmen and world class ODI batsmen (atm), he's in the top 3 run scorers in T20I's.

Still can't get a IPL contract, so much about having the best players in the world.

Munro hit 3 more sixes in 14 deliveries than SL did in their entire innings Thivagar :))

After his double century in the WC I think he should get a contract this year. (unless of course the IPL rosters have been set and Guptill lost out again).

NZ are in scary form right now. Going to be a tough little series. That being said, I think our bowling is better than SL, especially on these wickets.

What an epic phaintee

Looks like pakistan are going to be destroyed by these kiwi batsmen.

PHATTA wickets. Your bowling is going to suffer, NZ are resembling Indian pitches. Don't be intimidated by their batting, it is actually their batting +SL crappy bowling + crappy mentally disabled batsmen. If this was India they would have given a fair fight.

I am looking forward to our sedate openers putting on a materclass of odi batting.....in our t20's

Wow it only took NZ 10 overs to chase down that target . Guptill is a world class batsman and a brilliant innings from Munro. As a Pakistan fan, I'm worried about the upcoming series with New Zealand.

Well done kiwis on crushing win, however the ICC need to step in here and start standardizing boundary lengths for grounds hosting international cricket.

Most of the batting records been broken on small grounds in new zealand arent really worth taking not of to be honest its a mockery of the game that playing on grounds where almost every misshit goes for six.

No one who knows their cricket in NZ is getting their hopes up.

I'm guessing a group stage or SF KO.

Meh. In all honesty, NZ have as a good a shot as any other team. You guys have a gun opening combo and a good middle order. Just need Boult to get back to his best. Santner and Sodhi will probably be the spin duo in India I'm guessing? Santner I rate, he's got a good head on his shoulders. Sodhi, I haven't seen much of.

Losing B Mac just before the WC is a big setback though.

Watch the game.

Most of those sixes were 6 anywhere, only a few would have struggled to clear the boundary in Aus.

Limited overs cricket has been played at eden park for 30 years and it's far to small straight but records are not broken there often. The rest of NZ grounds are international standard size with some on the small side and some quite big.

There is far less 2s on a smaller ground and fielding Teams can save a tonne of runs if they are good enough. Most mishits will find a fielder rather than falling safe. Its not just a walk in the park as shown by low scores at eden park in world cup

NZ got real lucky you’d have to say. Another 150 runs and we could have prolly won this one maybe.

Any way congrats NZ we have been well and truly thumped last couple of tours to enzed and deservedly so. NZ have been top notch well played.
