Where did Pakistan lose the plot? 72 off last 4 overs is way too much.. For a team considered to be relyingnon their bowling more than batting where did it all went wrong??

Amir's injury was unlucky other than that what happened?

no we are not reliant on our bowling, we are minnows and have been for years now.

It is what it is, this was expected. No bowlers stand out.

This is what will happen almost every time if Wahab and Imad are bowling in the death.

Don't rub it in. We'll see how your trundlers bowl in 2nd innings. Then you can explain the same answer.

Amir's injury changed the game. He and Hasan were bowling wonderfully, Kohli couldn't time either of them and then as soon as Wahab came back they found their rhythm. If nothing else this should be the final nail for Wahab's LOI career.

I mean come on .. India were only 2 down .. what was everyone expecting? this is modern day cricket .. it happens ..

this is not the Pakistan team i knew once...this will take a long time to fix. India is the best i have ever seen.

You bowl Imad Wasim in the final over against Pandya and ask questions?

Credit goes to Wahab Riaz, with special mention to Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf

Terrible bowling.

Wahab lost the game. He gave the momentum and India never looked back.

This is what happens when the other team has so many wickets in hand. It was only a matter of time before Kohli exploded. Add to that the dropped catched of Yuvraj and Amir getting injured which only added insult to injury (pun not intended). Had he bowled two more overs maybe Pakistan could have conceded 20 runs less..

You can't allow a player like Yuvraj Singh get away with dropped catches.Hasan Ali is to be blamed

Wahab lost the plot not Pakistan. When you have to bowl him you have no chance. For the next game we should bring in Fahim and Junaid for Imad and Wahab they've been terrible. Play Shadab, Hafeez and Malik as spin options, and Fakhar should open alongside Hafeez. Babar, Sarfraz, Haris and Malik afterwards.

When things go wrong, they go completely wrong. Combination of many things. Amir's injury, Wahab, being forced to bowl Imad at the death

Kohli was struggling to time the ball, Yuvi isn't the old Yuvi as before yet Pakistan managed to bring them both back in form.. Infact not Pakistan but Wahab single handedly brought kohli back in form he six off the free hit got kohli back his timing and confidence and he never looked back..

2 factors

1)wahab riaz

2) dropped catches of yuvraj and virat both of whom were the ones who scored the runs.

A mix of good batting conditions, India keeping wickets in hand meaning full confidence and license to go berserk which was definitely aided by some very clueless Pakistani bowling. Credit must be given to thme batting talent at display too. Not many teams do this.

These last 4 overs just showed how outdated our bowling is. Even as a bowling unit we are still operating in the 90's completely forgetting batsmen now days have the ability to hit yorkers for sixes.

Dude it was the defensive captaincy early on . You dont look to save your best bowlers for the death . Everyone goes for runs at the end . Amir and hasan arent exactly known for their death over skills either.

Spinner bowling the death over to the indian middle order, who would have though of that. It must have been brilliantly planned ahead

We lost match because of drop catches. Imagine the score 5 wickets down

Which is also why there was an argument against bowling Wahab when Kohli was new to the crease. This is how rubbish like Wahab looses you games outright. You have no place to hide if he is neither taking wickets nor containing runs. But even if he has played his last ODI, we will never stop hearing from fans about how such and such phaast bowler who averages 35 in domestics should be developed. This is not to say that Junaid would have been so much better, but there are others in domestics who deserved a go. Rather than seeing Hasan's success as evidence that domestic form can be a meaningful indicator, fans now regard him as some kind of miracle. Unfortunately, if a new bowler is sent for - I don't know whether this is possible - it is likely to be someone like Abbas, who is not an ODI bowler. Because the PCB are cowardly idiots.
