Why would I refute them?...as I stated in the other thread...I am not a Jewish scholar...all I can say is Satmar are a fringe group whose interpretations veer from the mainstream...the mainstream Orthodox view is that Zionism is correct...i'm not going to engage in a scholastic discussion when i'm not a scholar...if anything your arrogance shines through here...you have essentially decided that this is the correct scholastic view when I also presume you are not particularly well versed in Talmudic studies and discussing the merits of one scholars scholarship over another?...
On Islam I could have these conversations...on the tenets of Judaism...absolutely not...
The Maajid Nawaz inference was that he states his opinions as Islamic facts also...the point is his views are fringe...ie irrelevant when discussing what the majority of people actually believe...
You are easily the most unqualified person to speak on this topic ...I have yet to see a single post from you on this subject where you even produce even something remotely close to a legitimate argument ...

There are Imams who claim gay marriage is acceptable ...or Quranists who believe hadith is an innovation ...ISIS I'm sure you will agree have different scholastic opinions to mainstream Muslims ...
What's the aim behind posting the views of a Rabbi who the majority of Jews don't follow ...
As KKWC won't have problem admitting the majority of Jews are Zionist ...orthodox rabbis are Zionist ...orthodox Jews join the IDF...so finding an anti-Zionist rabbi proves what exactly?...
Simply liking a scholar because they support your opinion doesn't mean something is religiously correct ...maybe this rabbi is correct but it's not like anyone here is in any position to make that argument ...unless you have some Talmudic specialism you haven't revealed yet ...

Well that is my point as well. I am not qualified to pass judgement on Talmudic content, and neither is any other anonymous poster on this thread. The only one who does qualify is this rabbi who is an accepted authority on Judaism...and thus I accept his argument.

Maybe you should study Judaism, it will help or maybe not to spread your propaganda. You are the one who dismissed him without even bothering to watch the video, so you tell us what points you disagree with? Otherwise if you#re not a scholar dont dismiss one lol.
It was a stupid comparison, Nawaz is no scholar and doesnt even claim to be a pracising Mulsim while the Rabbi is practising and learned.

Not that I lose sleep over it, but Shaykh is a strikingly strange flavour of poster. Joins Islam, then leaves Islam - and is now apparently a Zionist, however is probably not a Jew. In between these conversions, revelations, doubts and realisations, he does not log on to PP for ages and then suddenly returns in a completely different mode. Not to cause any offence to anyone but this literally fits the profile of somebody who is paid by the highest bidder to spread different ideas on the Internet.
Ok, so if someone posts a Rabbi who opposes this argument...then you accept that point too?
And I would choose Pakpassion because?...frankly if i were being paid I doubt it would be to convince Muslims of the merits of Zionism

Where have I dismissed his points?...I have said it is immaterial...as neither you nor I are scholars...his opinion is his opinion...and is a scholastic opinion...
My simple point is...no-one in Israel cares what this Rabbi has to say...the Satmar are fringe...it's about relevance...

Although, having said that, the same could apply to every other PPer on this forum - including Yossarian.

Why would you choose Pakpassion? Well there are plenty of other posters of a certain nationality who choose Pakpassion and they usually agree with you to a fault. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

The true Hebrews as mentioned in the Qur'an no longer exist but died at the hands of Romans in 60 AD.

Shaykh , clearly you are very mistaken . I am a congregant at rabbi Shapiro’s Synogogue in Nyc . He is not at all a satamar . His great uncle trough marriage was the satmar rabbi . This has nothing to do with what he is saying here . If you do some research you will see that EVERY SINGLE ORTHODOX RABBI SINCE ZIONISM HAS STARTED HAS CLEALY RELATED THIS EXACT MESSAGE! This is basic Judaism . Zionism and the state of Israel have nothing to do with Judaism. This is not a satmar view . I am also not satmar nor are my friends or fellow congregants. Satmar and several others have just been the most outspoken about this issue . I invite you to go to the truetorahjews.org website and read through some of the info they have there . I am happy to provide any info you may want as well . Sadly it is true that many Jews have fallen to the propaganda over the last 100 years that Zionist’s have spread . But this is basic Judaism not fringe at all and rabbi Shapiro is simply expressing it .
