These players have excellent FC stats and even though the sample is small and we played Ireland most of them had played very test few matches.

Expecting most of them to play till 2028 atleast.

Time to get rid of the timid Shafiqs,Rahats and induce Hassan Ali and Zaman.

Shadab and faheem have to play vs England for more than 1 reason.
1- we need 5 proper options if amir/hasan are carrying anything.
2- sarfaraz at 7 with a bowler at 8 makes batting look short
3- there is no guarantee that a new bat would score more runs than faheem who has had a tough knock on tour to get in shape

If we want a win we need the amir hasan and Abbas trio to rip England up once ( can be done)
And Azhar and Asad need to come to the party with contributions all the way to number 10, with amir and hasan both contributing

I agree, but Abbas is no spring chicken - he’s only got 3-4 years ahead of him.

Outside Asia I would always pick Shadab ahead of Yasir Shah - without his batting, Pakistan would have lost in Ireland.

And don’t forget Shaheen Shah Afridi!

Pakistani players play till 36 atleast

Wasim,Waqar,Gul,Sami,Akhtar are all good examples

Abbas plays tests only so it's easy to conserve him
