Why did he ever transform from a religious evangelist (for which he was popular as in the first place) into this non religious/ party persona in the first place?

I feel the guy has serious mental health issues that are going unaddressed for decades

He never transformed. It was just for the cameras. His off-camera behaviour is there for everyone to see.

This is the result of a society which is united merely by religion where everyone feels the need to show off their religiosity.

This is why it's difficult to trust most of these preachers. You don't know who's sincere and of sound mind.

Additional district and sessions judge dismissed Dania Shah's appeal to register a murder case on late televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain's death, reported Express.pk. Hussain's third wife and widow sought registration of an FIR of “suspected murder” of her husband in June last year.

The plea cited Hussain was given Rs250 million by some unknown persons in February of last year and Shah had also acquired video of the same. Hussain was found dead at his Karachi residence on June 9 in mysterious circumstances.

According to the filed appeal, the late host had kept Rs30 million in the bank while the rest of the money was put in a safe in his Khudadad colony residence's safes where he was allegedly murdered. Shah recorded her statement and named Mumtaz, Ali Javaid, Saqib and Abbas alongside three more persons.

Yasir Shami ordered to record statement in Aamir Liaquat’s video case

The Karachi’s judicial magistrate east ordered TV host Yasir Shami on Thursday to record his statement before the Federal Investigation Agency in a case related to leaking indecent videos online of late politician and anchorperson Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

He surrendered himself to court after the he was declared a suspect in the case.

The objectionable video featured the late politician in a state of complete undress in his home, allegedly after the consumption of an illegal substance. The video was leaked a couple of days after news broke of the dissolution of his third marriage.

Liaquat, a former MNA, passed away in Karachi on June 9, 2022 under mysterious circumstances. He was laid to rest on Friday in the compound of Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine.

Last year, a judicial magistrate indicted Dania Shah, the widow of a late politician, in the case. Later, she got bail in the case.

On Thursday, the court conducted the hearing of the case. Liaquat’s widow, Dania, also appeared in the court.

Shami surrendered himself to the court and sought bail in the case. The request was approved and the suspect was ordered to pay Rs500,000 of surety bonds to the court.

Earlier, the court had issued a warrant for the TV host as he failed to appear in court.

The case was registered against them in the FIA Cybercrime Cell.
