There is currently a series going in Zimbabwe between Afghan A and Zim A team. While the Zim team have several potentiel national team players most of the Afghan team are debutants picked from domestic circuit.

5 match ODI series and Afghanistan is currently leading 4-0. Absolute trashing and could white wash them.

This just shows the dept in Afghanistan cricket. Despite their 25-30 best players in UAE they still manage to trash A side of a test team.

This also show how much Zimbabwe is struggling currently.

Very disappointing. The quota system has ruined Zimbabwe as a cricket team. What saddens me further is that the Zim "A" team consisted of majority of their national players..

Just running through that scorecard and there's several internationally capped players for Zimbabwe A and they're still struggling badly to compete with the frickin' Afghan reserves.

Of course one must give credit to Afghanistan who are continually making progress, but Zimbabwe are in a dire state. I don't envy Heath Streak's position at all.

The first 3 games was basically Zimbabwe's full bowling unit bar Cremer.

Mumba,Madziva,Chatara,Moor all regular players now.

Also their domestic FC season has been "indefinitely suspended", so Zimbabwe as of now do not even have a first class competition. Yet watch the ICC continue to throw them money and do nothing.

Zim are really hurt by turmoil in domestic cricket. No team will be able to have strong cricket team without regular domestic cricket.

I hope they start domestic cricket again. The cricketers will be 10% sharper and that's what missing currently.

Zimbabwe look weaker and weaker by the day, I also cannot understand why Sean Williams is dropped but Malcom Waller always finds a place in the team.

Congratulations to Afghanistan, they are a good team and I think they have a really good chance of qualifying for WC2019 at the expense of Zimbabwe.

All Asian teams should invite them for three match ODI series and 2 match 4day series with corresponding A teams to develop afghan team as they are well on the right track to be the fifth Asia super power in cricket. Not only Pak but also Bangladesh and sl. They can win against these three teams on their day for sure. They now have very good batsmen,spinners and pacers to compete all Asian teams.

But they got arrogant and careless and basically everyone threw they wicket away.

121/6 and everyone tried again to hit big and lost in epic fashion haha.
