Some clowns here told us that Babar and Rizwan were detrimental to Pakistan's batting.

As I type, here goes Sharjeel's younger brother Azam Khan for a 0(2).
 
It's alright, these youngsters will come out good. But at the same time we should remember this before criticising players who have been performing for last 2 years consistently.
 
Tayyab tahir is a good player and will come good.
Saim and haris are suited to quicker pitches. No worries.
 
Babar and Rizwan fans are proper toxic.

It’s a meaningless T20 series, it’s about building a team for the future. Instead of writing them off after the 1st game, maybe hold your judgment till the series ends.

Exactly...every other team uses T20 bi-lateral series to test their bench strength and we are doing the same...let them play all 3 and then we will see which ones are the keepers...
 
I concur , despite the results in first two matches shan masood shouldnt make his way back in the third.

Did you miss the World Cup because we lost early wickets in every match bar NZ and the mighty BD.

This is a pointless series designed to test youngsters and fringe players. Result is immaterial.

This is what is most disappointing to see. Don't mind losing or not performing... but playing with so much fear is just sad.

You are not playing for a minnow team. Playing for Pak should itself give you a big dose of confidence.

Difference between domestic cricket and international.

No wonder babar and rizwan were highest scorers... They are quality

I am okay with the other players because their is some talent you can see, but for me Azam Khan is not serious, if he was serious he would lose weight, he looks like he gained more weight after PSL
 
So we will test youngsters to get humiliated in the holy month of Ramzan by the hands of novice AFG
 
These youngsters will never come good if they don't get chances here. It's a meaningless bilateral series in a format who's WC has already gone, relax

Can't say result is immaterial but is definitely not as important. However, what is importance, as you said is testing youngsters. And so far, they have failed miserably. The amount of nerves they are displaying does not bode well for their future. I understand it is their debut, but you are playing against Afg; not Australia or India.

Have some swagger, have some fire in the belly. This is timid scared stuff.

This is where management needs to step up...just like Baz and the English cricket team...play attacking cricket and don't worry about losing your spot...

That’s what happens when you are picked for doing tullaybaazi on pancakes with 50m boundaries. Pak cap shouldn’t be so cheap.
 
They should have played rizwan and Babar. Way easier to bat alongside these guys, less pressure. We still could have fielded 4 youngsters with them in the team. Instead we have iftikhar and Masood who will come in and compete with the youngsters for their spots. Wrong seniors picked for the squad. Failing like this doesn’t help these youngsters at all except knock their confidence. I think we will still series, maybe the match if Imad and Shadab have a blinder, but we’ve made it needlessly difficult for us.

That is part of it, yes. But it is not just the kind of cricket that you play, it is also about how you play it You have to have a presence on the pitch. You have to display confidence.

Our guys look so shy, timid and scared. I think it's a personality thing tbh. These guys lack strong personalities.
 
Imad and Shadab are both experienced players , they need to look to get Pakistan to a fighting score here
 
I would go with the same side again. The ball swung big today early. It happens. Last time, Naseem saved the blushes in Asia Cup despite of Riz and babar being in the team. Let see if there is gonna be a new hero.

Pak was 5/97 in 17th over last time Pak played against Afg at Sharjah with babar and rizwan in the team doing NOTHING. Have some sense.

This is exactly how it should be done. Pick senior players who are actually good to guide youngsters.
 
Its not that hard to find Babar and Rizwan shills in here bashing young players playing for the first time on one of the tough pitches.
 
Unnecessary criticism to youngsters. Let's wait for 3 match to decide their fate. This is best 2nd 11 we have got.
 
Search for the next hero for Pakistan is on. This is the first game. Saim looked impressive, was no need to play the shot. Probably inexperience speaking. Lets give them more chances

Shadab was one bowler too many, should have played Iftikhar or another batsman if there was one.

They seem to be upset that their two hero’s can’t stat pad against a weaker team.

Most fans would be excited to see youngsters get a chance in a meaningless series, but RizBar fans are too insecure.
 
And this is why I didn’t watch any PSL matches. Wanted to see us perform in the internationals, not going great.
 
Rizwan and Babar are the only two batsmen preventing us from being an associate nation.

We should try and bring them back for the last two games.

Yep, it seems certain folks either don't watch our matches or have amnesia. Naseem Shah of all people bailed us out vs AFG despite the much vaunted seniors.

These are not the easiest conditions for T20 batting. They must learn and adjust for the next two matches.
 
Their openere gulbaz and ither geeza will knock it off...i am so confused to see ziziai not even been picked i mean what talent they must have
