Here I have pit an all-time combined West Indies-Australia xi with an all-time combined South Africa-Pakistan xi.

South Africa-Pakistan

Barry Richards
Hanif Mohammad
Graeme Pollock
Javed Miandad
Jacques Kallis
A B Devilliers
Imran Khan
Mike Procter
Wasim Akram
Abdul Qadir
Dale Steyn

West Indies-Australia

Gordon Greenidge
Mathew Hayden
Don Bradman
Viv Richards
Brian Lara
Gary Sobers
Adam Gilchrist
Malcolm Marshall
Shane Warne
Dennis Lillee
Glen Mcgrath

Very Close.South Africa -Pakistan have a more balanced or varied bowling attack with arguably the greatest magicians of both spin and pace bowling in Qadir and Wasim. It also contains 3 of the greatest all-rounders ever with 2 great match-winners in Procter and Imran .With Barry and Hanif it has a better opening pair than the opponents. However West Indies-Australia have a much more impactful middle -order batting line up with Bradman,Viv Sachin and Gilly.Gary Sobers could well make the vital difference as well as Bradman ,Viv or Lara.I would back West -Indies Australia by a whisker.Still on a particular day there could well be an upset.

I will make some changes here. Graeme Smith certainly comes in place of Hanif Mohammad for Pak-SA XI. Being a left hander will make opposition imbalance.

I agree with Aus-WI XI and will go with them because Bradman, Sobers, Lara and Viv are widely considered among the greatest batsmen ever, Gilchrist the greatest wkt-keeper batsmen of all-time and Marshall, McGrath and Warne as the greatest pace bowlers and spinners of all-time as well.
