If a team gives 150 in last 15 overs and then blames batting for the loss, clearly they have issues.

If they would have lost comfortably with WI playing at 5-6 an over , we could argue insufficient runs.

But if a team is 160 odd in 34 overs and finishes on 300 at 49, blaming the batting is just stupid.

Our team needs Sharjeel. We are minnow level without him. Sharjeel has indeed fixed that is clear to everyone and their aunt, but in the interest of the side he should let of the hook with a massive penalty. Something along the lines of a permanent ban on participating in the PSL, docking of one/two year's salary and a restriction on using cellphone during series. I know this is a very, very left field opinion but I have Pakistan's best interest at heart.

Without Sharjeel we are sitting ducks for all teams to come and devour us, specially when we have Shehzad, Kami and Hafeez occupying our top order.

Thats why sharjeel was so important for our odi team .. With shehzad and hafeez in top 4 its guaranteed we never start of with a good sr and sarfraz and imad at number 6 and 7 means that we can not accelerate in the end. Babar azam is good to play anchor role but cant hit big either.

Zaman could be the hackiest batsman in the world, but in the same system he has a List A average of 49 at 93 SR, while Zia has 35 at 97 SR which suggests that at the domestic level Zaman has thoroughly outperformed Zia and in all likelihood the result would be the same in international as well.

I have watched enough of awais zia to know that he isnt a batsman.
