This era is vastly superior to the era of the Kiltchko brothers and this period of boom in the UK has never been seen before so consistently. I can see Fury being champion but not AJ in the past

Imo since Lennox retired, its been average to poor.

Lennox at his best, Fury at his best, Lennox would beat him pretty easily imo.

He has great powers of recovery for sure, and taking any punch from Wilder and to still be standing is something. But I have to credit Fury’s defensive instincts to because I don’t think he has taken a clean right hand from Wilder, in Rd 12 from the first fight, Wilder landed the right cross but Tyson was rolling with it by tilting his head to the right and moving away from it limiting its impact, he took the left hook clean though which dropped him. It’s remarkable that in a trilogy with a big puncher, he came out victorious. Wilder doesn’t get enough credit either.

Wilder has insane power in his punches. Fury is pretty excellent at dodging. For a guy that size to dodge punches is amazing. Saw a bit of Muhammad Ali in his dodging skills.

I’d say since he retired there have two different generations of Heavyweights, the Klitchko era was very poor without a doubt, since then it has been the best since the 90’s and if you look at some of the names who became alphabet champions in that decade I wouldn’t put them in a top 500 list of the last century apart from Tyson, Lewis, Bowe and Holyfield, even the decent era’s will have some weak opposition. Fury having the IQ and determination which he does, being the size he is and the ability to box a multitude of styles wouldn’t be easy for Lewis, Lewis respects Tyson the most out the current champions and he is clearly the best Heavyweight since Lewis. I also think Wilder is criminally under rated, in a 12 round fight you’re going to get hit, how many of the top champions of the 90’s would eat his right hand and survive on an off night they blink? if Hashim Rahman and McCall could do it why wont he have a chance. Self belief is an under rated quality, AJ could have finished Usyk but his mind quit, the has some great tools but a weak mind and heart, these are quality’s which allowed Holyfield to compete against the bigger men

It's all subjective. A lot of people say Mike Tyson pre incarceration could have beaten anyone.

My barber was confident Fury is the GOAT. :))

I asked him if Fury would beat Ali and Tyson, he said yes. :))

The other issue with boxing now causing this hype is the casuals outnumber real boxing fans. When Fury fought Whyte, groups of girls went to the fight for the hen doo lol.

The more money in boxing , the more fake hype , poor matchmaking.

Lol. You should have asked him whats he smoking!

For me Wilder has one of the most powerful punches in history but his boxing skills overall arent world class. For his talent Wilder has done very well. I agree with the rest of what you say. Fury has great skills no doubt, great powers of recovery but I think Lennox would find a way , he was one of the best tacticians in history. But yes its in the past, now Fury is way head of others. I think he would beat Uysk too.

It's all subjective. A lot of people say Mike Tyson pre incarceration could have beaten anyone.

100% Mike was a total beast then. I think he could have beaten everyone in history barring Ali.

Tyson Fury: I've offered Anthony Joshua a 60-40 split to get all-British world title clash made

Tyson Fury claims he has offered Anthony Joshua a 60-40 purse split in a bid to get a WBC heavyweight title fight made.

Fury had his sights set on a showdown on a unification bout with WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk at the end of 2022, but has now had to turn his attention elsewhere after it emerged the Ukrainian would not be able to box again this year.

The 34-year-old has since offered Joshua, who lost his rematch with Usyk last month, the opportunity to face him before the end of 2022 and on Tuesday posted an update with a video on his Twitter account further outlining his terms.

"I'm being bombarded with messages on how much I'm going to pay AJ," Fury said. "Everyone is saying '80-20, 70-30, 75-25' - the actual answer is I've offered him 60-40.

"[That's] 40 per cent of this amazing fight because I want this fight to happen. He doesn't have any excuses now not to take it, he can't say I've low-balled him or offered him 20 per cent or 30 per cent.

"I've offered the people 40 per cent - take it or leave it, let us know."

Joshua had initially responded to Fury's challenge by tweeting him to contact his management company along with vowing "I'll be ready in December".

Fury's promoter Frank Warren had confirmed they were making a formal offer to Joshua to contest the WBC belt too.

"It's us who have made the approach to give AJ a great opportunity to get himself back into the top level against the world champion Tyson," Warren told talkSPORT.

"He's willing to make that voluntary defence, so we'll send the offer across today [Tuesday] and then they'll have to look at it and decide whether they want to grab this with both hands.

"To his credit he has come out saying that he's up for it. I'm not bad-mouthing them or the other side, all we're interested in doing is making this fight."

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn expressed his doubts about whether the offer is serious, with the undefeated Fury having previously announced his intention to retire from boxing after successfully defending his title against Dillian Whyte in April.

However, Hearn is eager to get the all-British world title fight on if the offer is genuine and is adamant 2012 Olympic gold medallist Joshua is too.

"Personally, I don't believe Fury is serious about this, but if he is, which I said to the Warrens [Monday] night, 100 per cent we will sit down and make the fight," Hearn told talkSPORT.

"I would love to get really excited about this, because it's the fight that I get stopped in the street for more than any fight that could be made and it's a fight that AJ has wanted for a long time.

"Don't forget, we signed for this fight last year before the arbitration forced the Deontay Wilder fight for Tyson Fury.

"The message is quite clear from AJ, we don't want to get involved in a backwards and forwards, we want the fight, it's the fight he's wanted for a long time."

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua 'interesting' say WBC | Fury gives Joshua two possible dates for the fight

Tyson Fury has named two dates for a huge fight against Anthony Joshua, with the WBC open to the 'interesting' prospect of a British heavyweight battle.

A Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight wouldn't be blocked by an obligation on Fury's part to meet a mandatory challenger.

Fury was taking a mandatory defence when he defeated Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium earlier this year.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman told Sky Sports, "Fury made his mandatory defence in April. He is in a voluntary stage and the WBC will determine all mandatories of all divisions at the convention in Acapulco on November."

Heavyweights are already jostling for position to eventually become Fury's mandatory. Andy Ruiz beat Luis Ortiz in an eliminator and Deontay Wilder will box Robert Helenius in another eliminator in October.

"The WBC has sanctioned those two bouts and the Board will review each division [in November]," Sulaiman said.

It means they can't impose Joshua, who has lost his last two fights to Oleksandr Usyk, as a mandatory for the heavyweight title. But Fury could fight him as a voluntary, especially if it takes place next.

"The WBC cannot mandate such bout, that would be against the rules and against the rights of champion Fury," Sulaiman said.

But he added, "Fury vs Joshua will always be an interesting match, especially for the UK. Fury is without a doubt the best heavyweight of today and is in his prime."

Fury beats Joshua 10 out of 10 times. Different league.
Anyone here remember Ike Ikebucchhi. Was an amazing talent. Wner to jail for rape I think.

I gotta say props to [MENTION=46929]shaz619[/MENTION]. My guy fully telegraphed Joshua not being the nice guy that he was in front of the cameras years ago already. And then we saw what he did after the last fight.

Defo put up a nice guy act for years to play to the younger fans, and come off as a “role model”.

It’s a shame mate, his personality has partly been his doing to and those around him had consumed him. But, that gimmick took our stadium shows to a new level

Fury would win by points or late stoppage. One sided beat down.

Not really. In the heat of the moment these things can happen, and Joshua regretted his actions .

Look at Furys latest tic toc vid where he blasted johnny foreigners for all the society issues occuring in the uk yet everything gets swept under.

There is "no chance" the contract for a proposed all-British heavyweight world title fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will be signed on Monday, says promoter Eddie Hearn.

Monday is the deadline set by WBC champion Fury's promoter, Frank Warren.

On Friday, Fury said Joshua "does not want to fight" him, with 3 December being mooted as the date for the bout.

"If he [Fury] really wants to fight, he'll let the teams deal with it," said Joshua's promoter Hearn on Seconds Out.

Fury, 34, offered Joshua the fight despite the 32-year-old suffering a second successive defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in August and failing to regain the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF belts he lost to the Ukrainian in September 2021.

Joshua's team said they have "accepted all terms" to the offer.

Warren said "there shouldn't be a reason" why the contract could not be signed on Monday.

"I am hoping on Monday we'll be able to get it over the line. I don't think there's a lot of issues and the only thing I think can hold it up at the minute is the broadcasters," he told BBC Sport on Saturday.

"AJ said he wanted the fight. We've agreed the financial terms and we've told them they can be involved in all the contracts, setting the budgets for the undercard, everything."

However, Hearn said his team was getting the contract checked, claiming it was "all over the place" after waiting nine days to receive it.

"If he doesn't [want to fight Joshua], and I guess he doesn't, then he'll do what he'll do and the fans might even fall for it," Hearn said.

"But what I am seeing, the fans aren't falling for it.

"We have a meeting on Monday, with DAZN, with BT, with everybody but it's going to take time. If he wants to put a time frame of Monday on it then it's clear to the whole public he doesn't want the fight.

"It's not getting signed on Monday so if he is walking away on Monday the fight is off."

Tyson Fury has declared he will not be fighting Anthony Joshua because "no contract has been signed" after his self-imposed 5pm deadline on Monday

Dillian Whyte has offered to step in for Tyson Fury and fight Anthony Joshua again if their fight ends up falling through. Whyte first fought Joshua back in 2015, losing a seventh-round stoppage in a British and Commonwealth title fight but is willing to do it all over again after Fury declared that the all-British showdown is off.

Fury acting like a spoilt child, his antics are boring now.

I didn’t expect this fight to happen, and on paper it’s a shambles that guy with two losses in a row gets a world title shot, it has never happened before. AJ/Hearns have messed TF around a lot and they deserve to be used like rag dolls, but in this case they don’t help themselves, with no leverage they’ve been taking too much time unlike other fighters who genuinely are up for the fighting and not just the money.

Some fighters are born to fight, others are forced into the sport as an escape. AJ was the latter, a convicted drug dealer who grew up in a harsh inner city region; despite his media trained persona, the scars of hoodlum never left him and from murmurs in Boxing circles and especially east London, they knew of him to be a bizarre fellow who was containing his true nature. Fury may be regarded as controversial at times but he is far more open as a personality in comparison / has faced criticisms as a result despite his success. AJ played the character of a guy who is perfect and I think that weighed on him for years, he has done well to attract a casual cult like fan base who are gullible enough to defend him despite some humiliating defeats and some questionable remarks over the years when a script wasn’t handed to him, but he is anything but perfect and his rant was an explosion of rage he was containing all these years, AJ would much rather be called “G” or “Femi” the real him.

Joshua lost the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF belts to Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021 but Fury still holds the WBC title
Tyson Fury has urged Anthony Joshua to "give British fans what they want" and sign a contract for a heavyweight world-title fight in December.

WBC champion Fury, 34, had given fellow Briton Joshua, 32, an ultimatum to sign by Monday, but said on social media he has extended the deadline to Thursday.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn says he is "baffled" by Fury's latest demands.

"The ball is in your court, everything is done," said Fury.

"We have [broadcasters] BT, DAZN and ESPN all on the same page, they're happy with everything.

"If you have any dignity and pride about you, you'll get this contract signed today.

"I'm chucking you a massive bone but I know I can punch your face in so I'm willing to give you an opportunity. Let the British fans have what they want."

Speaking to Sky Sports, Hearn responded by saying Fury has been setting "unrealistic deadlines".

"I don't want to get involved with back and forths that are going to negatively impact this fight being made, but, to be honest, we are quite baffled by the situation," said Hearn.

"I'm not sure why Fury keeps setting unrealistic deadlines whilst also offering the fight to a number of other heavyweights for the selected date.

"If he is serious about the fight being made, I suggest he allows [boxing promotors] Queensbury and Matchroom to keep working hard to make the fight, of which everyone has been trying hard to do."

Joshua's team have already verbally accepted Fury's offer of a 60-40 purse split for a fight on 3 December, and television executives from BT Sport and streaming service DAZN were scheduled to meet on Monday.

Fury's promotor Frank Warren says he does not know what is preventing the contract being signed.

"Look, we can't go on forever. Tyson is fighting on 3 December whatever happens but this is the fight we want and this is the fight we've worked hard to get over the line," he said on Talksport.

"I, for the life of me, don't know what is holding this up. At the end of the day, he [Joshua] is the boss. Instruct your team if you want the fight.

"I want them to pick up the phone, them to get the contract across, instruct their lawyers to speak to our lawyers and get it over the line. It's not rocket science."

Last month Joshua failed to regain the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF belts in a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, losing on a split decision.

Ukrainian Usyk, 35, said he plans to have three more fights before retiring, including a unification bout with Fury, but Joe Joyce is now the mandatory challenger for Usyk's WBO title after beating Joseph Parker on Saturday.

Fury's last fight was a sixth-round knockout victory over fellow Briton Dillian Whyte in April.

They need to recognise their position, Hearns and AJ, no fighter in history after two defeats have received a shot. 40% is also way too generous

They probably weighing it all up.
Take two winnable fights and rake in £20/30m per fight snd then look for final big pay day which will end in defeat or take a fight he's 95pct likely to lose but make £40/£50m from.

AJ imo wont retire anytime soon and in a scenario where both Fury and Usyk are out the picture, he may even win one of the alphabet titles. He has a very loyal fan base and I can see this type of scenario to:

Fury - 50 mill

Tune up to get a W back: 10-15 mill

AJ vs Whyte: 20-30 mill

And if he is considering retirement, this one final pay day beats risking further punishment to make the same money

There is also a clip going round of Hearns saying he’d need just 48 hours to sign for the Fury fight lol he got some mouth on him

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: 'We're not going to play a game,' says AJ promoter Eddie Hearn

Negotiations for the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua heavyweight super-fight are breaking down.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, believes the fight won't be confirmed, at least for the mooted December 3 date.

However, he insists that they remain open to further talks.

"As far as we're concerned the fight's off. We're happy to continue the discussions," Hearn said.

"In our mind, he's not fighting Anthony Joshua. We're more than happy to continue those conversations but what we've been told is the deadline is passed and so have the entire country.

"We have sent the final version of the contract back, they've come back with points and we were told that the fight is off by the man himself."

Fury issued a public deadline for Joshua to sign the contract to face Fury last week. No further progress in making the fight has been made since then.

"They gave us terms ultimately and a date they thought we wouldn't accept. We did accept that. We were ready to go. If they were to sign the contract on Monday, they had a fight. We were asked to agree the deal by Monday, then we were asked to agree it by Wednesday. We got the comments back on Wednesday. We were never going to sign the fight [then], and we were told the fight's off," Hearn said.

"It's still there. It's still open for discussion. But we're not going to play a game with a bloke that's just coming out telling AJ it's off, and then he's a dosser, he's got to sign it, etc.

"Have your fight if you fight someone else, and we'll do our thing and we'll see what happens."

If Joshua's team is looking to go in another direction for his next fight, Fury will also have other options for a fight in December. Heavyweight contender Mahmoud Charr has already spoken to Sky Sports to call for Fury to sign a contract to fight him.

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: 'There will not be a fight between me and AJ ever! No Joshua, no more time-wasting,' says Fury

Tyson Fury has ruled out fighting Anthony Joshua at any point in the future.

Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, and Joshua were in negotiations for a potential clash on December 3. Those talks collapsed and Derek Chisora has stepped in to box Fury instead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Fury insisted that Joshua has now lost his chance to take him on in that mooted all-British super-fight.

"He doesn't have any belts. He doesn't have anything that I need and there will not be a fight between me and him ever. Full stop," Fury said. "There's too much messing. I'm not going over it again. They're too hard to deal with."

The talks between the rival camps for this fight ultimately failed. Fury insisted that the blame didn't lie with him.

"The fight didn't happen. The reason I believe is they never wanted it to happen and they never had any intention of it happening," Fury claimed.

"The first week [of negotiations] I believe he was interested in the fight then he realised the daunting task and he got talked out of it by his people and himself. If that wasn't the reason, he would be here now fighting instead of Derek. But he's not and that is that."

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has previously said that they were open to discussion but could not sign the contract in time for Fury's proposed deadlines.

For Joshua, Fury maintained, "There are no more fights that can outweigh Tyson Fury. There isn't any. There isn't more money to be had fighting Deontay Wilder or Usyk for a third time. The only money fight for him right now is to fight me, but that bird has flown.

"No Joshua, no more, no more wasting time," he continued. "The way he is, he's in a comfortable position and he's worked hard for it. I'm not going to discredit his performances or discredit his achievements. What I can discredit is his lack of commitment to the British public.

"I'm going to say what I said to Eddie Hearn in Arlington, Texas. The difference between me and your man is that your man is a businessman and I'm a Spartan."

Fury expects to meet Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed championship showdown in the first quarter of 2023. He had a warning for the unified WBO, WBA and IBF titlist. "I do not rate Usyk. People keep going on to me about Usyk, why couldn't Usyk do anything with Chisora?" the Briton said.

"I'm going to splatter him. How's he going to do anything with me? He's not."

Fury intends to box three times next year and that could include two bouts with the Ukrainian star and maybe a contest with Joe Joyce or even a fourth fight with Deontay Wilder.

"Whoever I can get, I guarantee I'm having three fights next year, starting in February [with Usyk] and if he wants a rematch he can have rematch, then someone at the back end of the year. Wilder, if he's mandatory, Joe Joyce if he's available, if he bumps himself up a bit. Daniel Dubois, there's plenty of British beef to go after," Fury suggested.

Fury had seriously contemplated retiring after he beat Dillian Whyte earlier this year at Wembley Stadium. But he found himself unable to leave the sport.

"I actually did retire and I really meant it. I know people won't believe me but I could have put my hand on the Bible and passed a lie detector test. When I said I was retired I really meant it," Fury revealed.

"However I don't think I can live a normal life. I think I need medical help to be able to do that. If there's somebody out there who probably could help me, I'd love for them to get in touch. Because I won't be able to leave this game and live a normal life, unless I'm brain trained to do that. Because a normal life is out of order for me, don't work.

"Ask me what goals I've got? None. Where do you want to be in five years? Nowhere. I've no goals.

"Keep going and keep fighting. That's it."

Tyson Fury says he 'needs to fight Anthony Joshua' before he retires

Tyson Fury says he "needs to fight" fellow British heavyweight Anthony Joshua before he retires.

Negotiations over a potential bout between WBC champion Fury and former unified champion Joshua's teams broke down in September.

Instead, Fury, 34, will defend his title against Derek Chisora in London on 3 December.

"I don't think I can retire today because I need that Joshua fight," Fury said on the High Performance Podcast.

"We have been trying to make that fight for years. It's the fight that people want to see. It's the fight that I want to see as a boxing fan."

Discussions over a potential bout between Fury and Joshua were held following the 33-year-old's defeat in a second fight against Oleksandr Usyk in August.

Shortly after the bout, Fury challenged Joshua to a fight via a video on social media, to which Joshua accepted, saying he would be "ready in December".

Negotiations ended with both parties blaming each other for the fight not coming to fruition.

Fury's meeting with Britain's Chisora, 38 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the third meeting between the pair, with Fury winning in 2011 and 2014.

Fury won the WBC title, alongside the The Ring belt which he later vacated, in his second of three fights against Deontay Wilder in 2020.

At the time, Joshua held the remaining titles in the heavyweight division, before his first defeat by Usyk 2021.

In the past year, British heavyweights Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois have also earned statement wins in the division, with Dubois beating Trevor Bryan in June and Joyce defeating Joseph Parker in September.

Despite all the potential bouts for Fury in 2023, he says Joshua remains top of his priorities.

"For the last four or five years, there has been this three-headed monster: me, Wilder, Joshua," said Fury.

"Joshua and Wilder have been slain, and I'm the last one standing. All of a sudden, you've got some new people coming up now - Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois, Usyk's gate-crashed the party.

"Now there's a load of new blood that wasn't there five years ago and it's like, 'can you beat this person?'

"But I think it would be an absolute dying travesty if me and Joshua didn't fight in this era."

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn tells 5 Live Boxing he is "baffled" by Tyson Fury's latest demands regarding a contract for a heavyweight world-title fight in December.

Hearn is a clown. At least with the belts it made some sense for him to act so demanding all the time. But his guy doesn’t have the gold anymore, he’s a mere challenger, and yet he’s still trying to act like some tough guy and asking for the world from Tyson. Just get on and make the fight.

Foolish.

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury heavyweight showdown will happen in 2023, predicts Barry Hearn

Barry Hearn believes the long-awaited heavyweight showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could take place at the end of next year.

Negotiations over a fight broke down in October, with Fury instead defending his WBC title against Derek Chisora a fortnight ago, and the 34-year-old previously said it would be a "travesty" if he did not share a ring with Joshua before they hang up their gloves.

A unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA belts after back-to-back victories over Joshua, is next on the agenda for Fury, but Hearn believes a blockbuster fight with Joshua could follow.

The head of Matchroom told Sky Sports News: "Anthony is in the States at the moment trying out some new trainers and getting his head right. He wants to be active in 2023.

"I think Dillian [Whyte] is on the list. There's a few other names - Deontay Wilder might be there, Otto Wallin. It's his call.

"He is at a crossroads in his career. He can't afford another loss.

"We're going to see a very interesting 2023 across the whole heavyweight division. Joe Joyce is up there, 'The Juggernaut' is a handful. Daniel Dubois is coming back.

"Obviously Tyson Fury is the No 1 in the world. He's going to take all the beating, but I think he is quite close to getting the Usyk fight signed off. That's a hell of a good fight, and a dangerous one.

"I think Usyk is the No 1 heavyweight in the world. Tyson will disagree with me. Let's go and see.

"The fight we all want to see eventually is AJ against Fury. You'll get stories, Tyson will say the fight is never going to happen, Joshua will say he'd rather fight Dillian White. Forget all of that.

"This fight has to happen, and I think it does happen at the tail-end of 2023, for all the marbles."

Fury v Joshua: Tyson Fury claims to have 'sent contract' to Anthony Joshua over September fight

WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says he wants to fight fellow Briton Anthony Joshua at Wembley in September and has sent him a contract.

Fury, 34, has not fought since stopping Derek Chisora in the 10th round at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December.

A fight with Oleksandr Usyk, the IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA champion, was expected to happen in 2023 but fell through.

"A few days ago I sent a draft contract to Anthony Joshua for a fight in September at Wembley," Fury wrote.

In a post on Instagram, Briton Fury added: "It's a fight everyone wants to see, including myself.

"Come on AJ let's give the world what they want to see. This time I'm not going to make a million videos and keep putting pressure on. The ball is now on your side."

A fight between Fury and two-time world champion Joshua, 33, has long been talked about, but never materialised.

Fury set a deadline in September, which was not met, and said at the time: "It's officially over for Joshua. He is now out in the cold with the wolfpack.

"Forget about it. Always knew you didn't have the minerals to fight the 'Gypsy King'."

Britain's world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has not sent a contract to Anthony Joshua lining up a September fight, says promoter Eddie Hearn.

Fury, 34, said on Friday he wanted to meet Joshua at Wembley later in the year and had already sent a contract.

Hearn said Fury's team had "reached out" but "no contract has been sent".

He added he was trying to set up a fight for Joshua in August, then one with Deontay Wilder in December and was "not willing to alter those plans".

Speaking on IFL TV, Hearn added: "If our plans don't come to fruition we would of course be open to discussing a fight with Tyson Fury. The Tyson Fury fight is a fight Anthony Joshua wants.

"The good news is we're talking, we'll see what happens."

Fury has not fought since retaining his WBC title against Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December.

He wrote on Instagram that a fight against 33-year-old two-time world champion Joshua is "a fight everyone wants to see, including myself".

Fury set a deadline last September, which was not met, and said at the time: "It's officially over for Joshua. He is now out in the cold with the wolfpack."

A mooted fight with Oleksandr Usyk, the IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA champion, was expected to happen in 2023 but fell through.

Fury has 33 wins and one draw from 34 bouts, while Joshua - who beat American Jermaine Franklin on points in London in April - has 25 wins and three defeats in his 28-fight professional career after winning Olympic gold as an amateur in 2012.
