What's new

Are we living in a simulation?

We are definitely like the characters in video games. Real life feels like a simulation.

I actually like this show. It's quite sophisticated in terms of the futuristic tech it presents.

So who do you think is controlling us or what the "real life" is?

We might be powerful beings playing this game of life out of boredom. We might have played it hundreds of times before and will keep playing. When the game is over, we would make fun of the result and reflect on the whole experience with other players.

We can also be forced into simulation (sort of like Matrix) by other influence.

Of course all this after assuming that life is a simulation.

i think it is.

ever since i was 8 years old, approaching 34 now, i always belived life here was like it was on my playstation, in those days tech was slow and when you were playing a game and entered a room it would be black then the pixels would load one by one, since then i always imagined our world like this and that nothing exists till you view it then it loads.

well it turns out this is actully what the double split experiment proved, everything exists in waves till you observe it then those waves collapse into particles.

i have absolutly no doubt we are in a virtual universe.

I wouldn't be too surprised if we are, purely because it's incredible how many times something goes completely different to how you would expect it.

England getting declared winner further proves simulation hypothesis to be valid (such preposterous event can't possibly occur in "real" world, can it?).
