Gillingham 0-1 West Ham
Arsenal 0-0 Leeds at the moment
Even though we won it was still a rather poor performance by the boys today. Chelsea will thrash these kid's in the next round.
Actually opposite - I believe, Liverpool will play almost first XI while Lampard will be forced to play under-strength squad and we should come with a win from Bridges. No replay this time, therefore it will go to tie breakers if required and I don't see Liverpool losing in 120 minutes.
If you notice the EPL fixture, before FA Cup tie (most likely 4th March) Liverpool has 3 EPL games - Norwich, West Ham & Watford, followed by Bournemouth the following Saturday (7th March), and Athletico on 18th FEB/11th March. Means, by the FA Cup tie Liverpool should be within 1-2 wins of EPL Title, still having 10 games at hand - this is considering if Genius wins every game including away tie to Leicester & Old Traford.
In contrast, Lampard couldn't by any back-up in January, Giroud will be even more slower in a months timeand their schedule prior(And just next) to FA Cup tie includes MU, Spurs & Everton - Chelsea most likely will lose or on the verge of losing the all important 4th spot by then, add to that Bayern on 25th Feb, I can see Lampard resting his key players.
At most, Klopp might rest Mo for the FA Cup and replace him with Minamino and may be VVD. Mane is returning back after a decent rest, therefore he'll play. This will be LFC's likely line-up for FA Cup - you can check that time, hardly few changes from this 18
Alisson
TAA, VVD, Matip, Robbo
Henderson, Fabinho, Alex-ox
Minamino, Bobby, Mane
-------------------------------
Adrian, Gomez, Clyne, Milnr, Curtis Jones, Origi, Elliott.

You've changed your tune haven't you!!? Just some month's back you'd be crying how poor our team was when I would tell you otherwise.
I think Klopp will do a mix of young and first team. Some of the kids have definitely earned their right to play against Chelsea. And I think Alli will rest and Adrian will play. He has been tremendous for the Reds esp against Everton in the FA cup and also when Alli was out injured. He deserves to play.
I think it will be
Adrian
Gomez, Lovren, Matip, Robbo
Milner (if fit by then), Fabinho, Keita
Minamino, Origi/Mane, Ox/Lallana
I have never said the team was poor, rather the starting XI is as good as anyone on match by match. What I said was that the team needs investment - there is a minimum squad depth required for every team for a 10 month's season, that too for a team that has 5th largest revenue stream in club soccer all over world, and a net spending lower than Watford, Wolves or Fulham. AND, it's not few months back, rather two years back before Klopp spending 75mn for a CB, 70mn for a GK, and 80mn+ for two midfielders. On top of that, they revised wage structure to give long term contracts to Salah & Bobby.
Yes you did often say how we had no chance of winning the league and all that so don't you deny it now. Again your rubbish of the team needing more investment has been exposed by the likes of Man City who despite having spent much more are well behind us in the league. I remember telling you clearly that it was how a club spends money. Now you are deflecting attention on to our clubs instead of simply accepting that you were completely wrong. You said that we would not win much under Klopp if he did not spend like a "drunkard sailor" in the words of previous owners. Even now our net spending is not much yet we are Euro, world and soon to be English champs.

"This squad" you are talking about was more or less the one we have at the moment. I also told you back then that the sub's bench was not as poor as you made it out to be back then. We have Shaqiri, Milner, Keita, Lallana and Origi warming the bench these days. You can not expect world class players to be sub's no matter what. I do think you are simply shifting goal posts now.
I don't know who exactly our players were back then nonetheless I recall saying even back then that one Klopp needs time and secondly even then we were in the top three or thereabouts. Even today the two Manchester's net spending is well above what we do in the market just that we are smarter then they are. Even now we will not overspend on the likes of Mbappe, Sancho or Havertz so our philosophy has not changed much. So are you now praising Klopp now when you were first attacking him? That is why I was accusing you of "changing your tune". Now you will want Couts back as well, right?
Even back then before JK when on his spending spree I insisted that he should be given time which has proved to be right. You were crying about the "average players" like Robbo and Ox who you are now praising as being great value for money. My point is simple that I said so then we were not as bad as you made us out to be.
I am the biggest fan of Klopp, .... and I never attacked him, rather I said opposite - the brilliant guy was covering his employers perfectlyHe used to say - we'll buy only if the player available is better than what is there - now, he has bought Taki and a 21 years old striker from Championship, do you think they are better than what we have already.
MU/C's net spending is much higher than LFC, because they wasted money on expensive flops. And, it's only Pep's reputation and unlimited oil money that kept him in job - otherwise not only the Manager any normal Club would have gone to bankruptcy if Manager blows quarter billion to fix defense and still playing couple of midfielders as make-shift CB.
I write in Daily Mail as well by the name of LFC_Fan .... regarding Coutinho, this is just yesterday I posted -
"PC is the last man I would like to see in Liverpool colours. Most Latin players do wish to play in Spain, but Masch, Suarez, Sterling.... had a point as well - they decided not to spend their best few years to keep Liverpool in CL. This guy left Liverpool with this squad, manager & future!!!!"
There are many such in past ..... relax, I know a bit of football.

Spurs beat Southampton 3-2.
Another good day for Mourinho.
