Satisfied or not, this year and next years IPL will be a bumper hit. The victory in 2026 T20 WC will create unprecedented hype. BCCI will mint money. Broadcasters will be inundated with Advertisement offers.
The hype will be out of this world. Fans will fill the stadiums to see their heroes perform once again for their cities.

I think most Indians would like to win the ODI World Cup in 2027, and they have a fair shot at that.

The day you are satisfied starts your downfall. A never ending thirst and quest for glory is what drives champion teams. Amd Ind cricket team is on the right path. I said before the 26 t20wc started that this t20wc Ind team is stronger than the 24 t20wc team and they proved it

After watching entire 90's away performance , I am contended with what Indian team achieved in last 2 decades. Still few more things i would like to see , World test championship , test series win in South Africa are my top two.

India may not win WTC anytime soon. They have declined in Test. No more Rohit, Pujara, Ashwin, Kohli etc. either.

WTC it is not a level playing field. Both times we reached finals we went there right after IPL. Lack of accmlitization. No warm up games. Australians were playing county cricket when we went there. Same way NZ had just completed test series against England when we went there. So I don't rate that tournament much..India has reached twice. AUs twice. Nz once. Sa once. Outside this no one will reach anyway.

Need to beat Australia in an ICC odi final for proper closure.

2007 WT20 we beat Aussies in Semis
2011 wc we beat them in QF
2024 WC we beat them in super 8 must win match and went on to win the cup.
2025 CT we beat them in semis.

2011, 2025 was in Asian conditions,
2007 was a sweet feeling. SA conditions and legendary Aussie team even though it was T20 format
2024 again T20

So really want a proper India vs Aus final in South African conditions in 2027 and India to win it.

Apart from WTC, nothing much left to achieve to be honest.

Maybe hattrick of WT20 wins will be sweet.
