Australia (118/3) crush Pakistan (117) in 3rd T20I by 7 wickets, completing 3-0 T20I series sweep

Totally ok with the result:

Meaningless dead rubber t20 gave chances to youngsters
All batters showed intent

If you want to see team develop, then be patient
 
Only find from this series was Irfan khan though he didn’t make that many runs but a good cricketer on the field. Calm and not fuzzed by the situation , plays pull short very well controlled manner. Fielding is top notch no words to say.

He can definitely be mould into the finisher that Pak was looking for

Hopefully Pakistan keep give him more chances.
 
Salman Agha has a T20 average of 19 at sr of 118. Does the selection committee know that there’s different formats in cricket?

That’s not the case. Dead rubber take the opportunity to play and score runs and take wickets. Look to showcase the talent not play brainless cricket.

It’s an opportunity, series is dead , chance to play without any pressure.
 
Next T20 series for PAK in RSA should be easier for PAK.

It starts a day after the Test series against Lanka for Saffers so Jansen, Maharaj, Stubbs and Markram will all be absent

If this is the squad that's sent, then even Zimbabwe will be difficult to conquer in t20
 
Maybe he's taking flight too early, which may hinder his pace

Zimbabwe will win against pakistan. I don't disagree on that. Was referring to Zimbabwe vs SA. India losing to Zimbabwe was a separate timeline, it was when Indian players were brand new.

Now the team is settled.
 
It’s good Rizwan had to leave but in the current situation this decision was made with cowardice and ulterior motives. However, Pak did better in the PP overs so it’s further evidence you need to remove accumulators from the opening slots.

Birmingham fans are the best bro, they would throw bricks at the team bus, especially if Rizwan & Babar are in. Am not saying I would be a part of that party 👀

Though more recently I enjoyed supporting the Pak legends at Edgbaston more than this lot

It’s because of bs like this the players get injured, Rauf should be chilling. If I was him I’d start bowling spin.

Obviously! So they played to not make runs and not take wickets? They couldn’t deliver and that’s the point.
There was definitive intent and it’s a start.
youngsters will be inconsistent and nervous. If you don’t want to give them time, then stick with the old lot.
 
Massive skill gap between both team and it's not even worth watching ,

Jahandad needs to decide whether he wants to bowl spin or medium pace trundling.

They are all resorting to slower balls

Only Rauf keeps bowling pace
 
Even Rauf is bowling 10k slower than his usual. I don't know what happened to the pace of our every pacer in this series.

McGurk average 15.66 strike rate 180. Babar same average , strike rate 140
Rizwan average - 8, 57 strike rate.

As good as Sahibzada maybe. Better than Rizwan and Babar most definitely.

Only PAK batter to score more runs than McGurk is Usman Khan.

How many runs did Kohli and Rohit score in recent test series?
 
Aus have pacers who can bowl 140k+ and bounce you out and we don't have batsmen who can deal with pace and bounce neither we have any bowlers who can bowl 140k+ and bounce Aus batsmen out except for Haris Rauf.

18 year old beach boy making T20 saints Bobsy and Rizzu look mediocre
 
Saleem Malik had more bite in his bowling than Sufyan Muqeem. Sufyan is genuinely one of the worst "spinners" to come out of Pakistan. The level of talent in Pakistan is at par with Kenya.
 
Faisal Akram is a much better prospect than Sufyaan he just bowls half trackers without turning it
