Moving very well Matt Renshaw. Can be a good option for AUS moving forward. Quite experienced now too.

Tuned in to watch Travis head but India bowled beautifully to him
He's very good(even though he got bowled eventually). Needs to come into the test side now.

Will only move up from here. We have are curating a very strong team for the future. But im worried about my Papi Head now.

End of an Era I suppose 😭😭

@Rana I gotta give credit to you.

Marsh, Mattew Short have improved by miles.

Once Green returns the top 4 look jacked up.

This is a scary scary top 4 for odi and t20.

1) Travis Head
2) Mitch Marsh
3) Mattew short
4) Renshaw
5) Josh Inglis
6) Cameron Green
7) Tim David/ Alex Carey

^^ This should be Aus's odi batting lineup going forward. @Rana @jeeteshssaxena

In tests

1) Kellaway
2) Renshaw
3) Green
4) Steve Smith
5) Head
6) Webster
7) Carey

In t20

1) Head
2) Marsh
3) Inglis
4) Short
5) Green
6) Tim David
7) Owen

I think Owen is talented but keep him in t20 for now. He is a future no 3 though but ue has to wait until Head and Marsh Expire.

Washington Sundar to Matthew Short, no run, dropped! Short looks to play a cross-batted drive through the covers after backing away a bit and outside-halves it to backward point. Straight to Siraj and he puts it down. Another reprieve for Short

That was a bullet cover drive from Connoly. Hardest hit I've seen in a while in that direction. Fielder could barely move a couple of steps and it went whistling past him.
Playing well the young gun

how we are dropping so many catches in last few months? I'm not watching right now so don't know it was easy or tough catch:kp

How do aussie players improve in such a short span of time? Connelly was a walking wicket a few months back?

Now he's a proper batsmen. Some of these shots are unbelievable

Connolly was recently in Australia A team playing in India. Seems a decent batsman.
He is a decent batsmen now. But bro I've seen this trend a dozen times.

Green use to be a certified tulla and months later he has the makings of an atg batsmen. He isnt their yet obviously, but he is a solid batsmen now.

Similarly connelly was bloody useless and now he's a solid batsmen?

Then Marsh was badly out of form but came back in recent times with form even better then his 2023 counterpart?

How do all these guys improve so quickly? At such a rapid pace? Not every aussie improves but a majority do.

Even Steve smith started out as a tail ender bowler 🤣🤣

Looks like even Owen is ready now 🤣🤣🤣.

These guys improve extremely quickly lol

Match is gone, only a miracle & Siraj can win this match for us.

Gill flop ftb as well flop captain.
Siraj has only ever displayed that tendency in test cricket where he's genuinely gotten india out a rut.

But this also ignores the fact that excluding the 5th test vs England, hes always hand bumrah by his side.

Dont think he can do anything here.

I've noticed unlike India, Australia doesn't really produce generational talent. They just know how to turn ordinary talent into generational talents.

While in india you are either born special or you're not. Theirs no in-between.

Lol indian bowling is being taken to cleaners vs aus new players same rauf was unplayable in australian conditions unless india stop this obsession with spinners like axar they will continue to get humiliated overseas

Rohit Sharma 75 off 98 balls. Just drop him.
That's clearly a selfish knock from him. In older days he would have scored at least 100 in 98 balls

Different aussie side.

That side was expiring, An expired Steve smith, JFM, A mattew short who was just adjusting to odi and hadnt gotten their, No Head, No Marsh, and Green, None of their generational guns either.

Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins are good bit no one can defend 148 in this era regardless of the bowlers unless it happens to be a rare once in a blue moon moment

Connoly was available in last year's PSL draft. No one picked him LOL
He improved, with connelly and Owen now improving.

Does Australia have anyone in their batting lineup thats worse then Ba/Riz/Abdullah/ Imam/Chacha/Nawaz or any of the other rubbish we carry?

India have won test series/ ODI series/ Tri series in australia. First win a test which you haven't won since 1995.

This is just farewell series for Rohit - Kohli . Australia is playing with full strength barring Cummins where they played with Pakistan with second string team.

India is missing BUMRAH, Kuldeep, Hardik - Three pillars of Indian cricket team

We are fine with this series results as when we play next ODI series with Jaiswal, Abhishek we will demolish every team like champion trophy.

Let's wait for T20 series to start where we will show Australia who is the Boss

:klopp :kp

@Devadwal @saimayubera Same Aus that Rizwan's Pak smashed is hammering Indians

Same Australia? Your cricketing IQ need to be updates:klopp :kp

Bro still by no means that was a smalll bowling performance pak bowlers really exploited the conditions better than what indian are doing atm

What didn't Pakistan exploited the conditions in champion trophy at home or in australia whenever they tour for test SERIES ? :klopp :kp

No, ive never seen Australia carry besharams in white ball format. Their commentators are quite brutal against players who are not playing hard for the team. Even guyswith limited strenghts like Renshaw, Hardie, Phillipe etc will not shut up shop to just play yourself in or casually let the run rate drift away.

Pakistan bowled better then India in Australia i agree. Infact they also ironically bowled better then India(excluding Bumrah) when they toured Australia in Test.

That doesn't change the fact that the team india is facing here and the ine they faced in BGT is miles superior and would mollywop Pakistan into next week.

Pakistan faced a much weaker Australian side. You have to admit that.

I dont like india and many indian posters excluding a few real ones that I cherish and respect, but I have to be honest and unbiased.

You are crazy if you think Pakistan even with the same team is beating this current version of Australia in any format.

Ya bro great points no disagreement here

Kuldeep doesn't need any pitch help to takes the wickets :kp
Anyone can take wickets on any den. I'm saying he wouldn't be as effective here as you are making it seem.

You made similar comments about jadeja and ashwin in bgt and they died a horrible death.

England(Post 2022 era) and Australia aren't places where spinners are particularly effective.

Even Warne and Murli wouldnt be as effective. They'd be economical with 1-2 wickets at best.

Warne in this era. Not one ball era. Odi was a different beast back then

Lol they are winning by small margin without Bumrah, Kuldeep , jaiswal , Pandya so think how bad they would have loose if had they played. :kp

Guys this isn't a Pakistan thread. Can we please stop derailing and just focus on Australia and India for once, I want one match thread where no one fights, including myself.

India are losing. Woo hoo!

Aus doesnt have Green, Cummins, Inglis and a few of their other batters either.

Also they aren't winning by a small margin. They destroyed india and only took a risk at the end. The match however before 7 wickets fell was already a foregone conclusion.

Short, Owen and connelly sealed the game long before the 7th wicket.

That isn't winning by the barest of margins.

Impact of Bumrah, Hardik and Kuldeep is way more than any missing Australian players. :kp

They are winning by two wickets and you think it's not a small margin win ? Lol :klopp :kp

India just has poor bowlers outside the obvious ones - Bumrah, Kuldeep & may be Varun C (who would be super economical in all white ball cricket). And not just for ODIs but also for Tests outside the subcontinent.

Still can't fathom how England managed to lose twice to this lot when Bumrah was on the bench
