Australia [381/5] beat Bangladesh [333/8] by 48 runs in 26th match of 2019 World Cup

Nice cautious batting. Setting it up for the launch ... Liton, Sabbir and Mahmudullah have to be at their best, much will depend on Liton after the last game.
 
Man, Australia's bowling is rubbish.

Yea, the ICC is quaking in it’s boots out of fear of being exposed by fans of minnow teams. India beat Australia clean and fair, your minnow team got it’s backside whopped by the Aussie batsmen and are now heading to a loss.

Aus bowling nothing special and BD is scoring 7-8 overs for last 5 overs mean If Sakib survives and Liton strikes well they can win this match.

Excuses.... If you will see except 2011, every other time, even when beaten by nemesis, Pakistan took defeat gracefully and never once gave excuses. That's the sign of a top team who accepts the conditions even if it is against them.

That's why, in the mind of an Indian, Pakistan will be a threat and Bangladesh will be a minnow even when Pakistan is going through a rough patch and Bangladesh at their limited peak.
 
Drinks.

Tamim and Shakib need to build big partnership. If possible both getting big scores will help.
 
Tamim must have seen Misbah's Mohali knock in youtube, batting like the legend :misbah

He will still be chasing this for score for 4 years onwards

That's the problem.

They have no accountability for their action.

They r systematically providing spin friendly used up wicket with big boundary to one team while giving a flat deck with a tiny boundary to another team.

There should be consistency in wickets in a multinational tournament like this.

Bangla fans are complaining about ICC, pitch, BCCI and even their own top batters playing a superb knock with their backs to the wall, teaching others how to chase 380+score. Bangla team may not be a minnow but many of their fans still act like minnows. LOL

Bangla will probably not win today (never know) but is showing excellent application; knocking on the door to greatness.

#1 vs #4
#2 vs #3

We may see England vs Australia and NZ vs India.

In a multinational tournament like this, a pitch should provide assistance to everybody. It should be excellent to bat early in the innings but the spinners should also be able to spin the ball once the ball gets softer.

Today's pitch heavily favoured Australia. These types of wickets has totally taken out the life of today's match.
 
If they don't reach 180 by 30th over, it will become a massive problem. 210 would be better.

I am not sure what you are asking here.

A team is chosen based upon what the pitch will provide. The pitch isn't tailored based upon which players will play the match.
 
Tamim Iqbal's average in last few years has been high because his SR is rubbish. Overrated player and a serial choker.
 
They need 247 runs in 27 overs. It is difficult but can be achieved. Lots of wickets in hand.

Got it. Pitch should provide Idli with filter coffee in the morning, Fish and chips in afternoon and Lamb biriyani with single malt in evening.

So you mean ICC should transport the mirpur pitch to all the venues where BD plays?. Your claims are cringeworthy and making sure that I should never support your team.
 
Chasing a big target like this. You need one of the top 3 score a biggie, someone else needs to give a flying start. No one has played a 25-30 ball 50-60 yet or - 20 ball 40!
 
Almost 10 per over. BD team and the fans should think about their next match at this point. No point of wasting energy in this match where there is inevitable defeat by a big margin.
 
Had sarkar didnt have a brainfade and get runout who knows he might’ve got BD off well.

Because for their fans BD is the greatest team of the century. Its all ICC and BCCI conspiracy to hold them back. 2015 world up quarter final was prime example. They cried a river for a no-ball which was a legitimate no-ball ( Conveniently forgetting that they won against England because of umpiring error else they would have never made it to QF).

A little win here and there and their ego and cringe go through the roof.
