Australia (93/4) comfortably defeat Pakistan (64/9) by 29 runs in first T20I match to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series

What happened to those closed stadiums Australia had ? We can at least use them for shorter format. Such a shame to loose a good contest due to rain

Would have at least been interested in what the playing xi is even if it’s a washout.

Not a fan of shorten games however this is good practice for Pakistan, in world cups game can be shorten. I always felt when it came it shorten games or super over Pakistan is never prepared for it, where as other teams have some sort of gameplan.

Nah feel like you have to shorten it if you can. Nothing more frustrating than going to the ground and not having a match. I remember I went to Bristol for the World Cup and it was rained off. Even got hotel accommodation for the night. Luckily I managed to get a ticket for another match.

I surprised. Why play Haseebullah when Omair is in the squad too? I assume Haseebullah won’t be opening anyway.

Today's match is 4th 7-over T20I in the history.

Australia has an edge as parchi Afridi has at least an over to give 25+ runs.

real test is for babar and rizwan if they consider themselves t20 openers come out and chase whatever the total is

Australia on 🔥 ahhhhhhh, I turned off the tv and just switched but atleast I get to watch 🫠🫠

Going at 16s. This is bad tactics from Pakistan. They are attacking when they should be defending in a 7 over game
